TL;DR: In this article, the thermal degradation of modulus of elasticity of concrete is modeled by composite mechanics at three scales of observation: (a) at the level of concrete, (b) at level of mortar, and (c) the cement paste level, where the change of volume fractions of the constituents are evaluated based on phase transformations which take place in different temperature ranges.

••
TL;DR: In this paper, Magnesium Phosphate Cements (MPCs) with boric acid as additive were optimized to obtain good mechanical properties and proper setting times, and the viability of the developed formulations to be used as repair mortar was evaluated.

••
TL;DR: In this article, three-point bending tests were conducted on notched beams to compare the fracture properties of alkali-activated slag (AAS) concrete and ordinary Portland cement (OPC) concrete at three different compressive strength levels (30, 50 and 70 MPa).

••
TL;DR: In this article, the authors demonstrate the advantage of cork-mortars for renderings when compared to EPS-mortars, from a thermal characteristics point of view, namely in steady and unsteady conditions.

••
TL;DR: In this paper, a study was conducted to evaluate the possibility of utilizing the waste glass sludge (WGS) from the cutting and polishing process of glass plates, as a partial replacement of cement.
