Abstract: PURPOSE: An online and offline brain potential capacity development system on the Internet and an apparatus therefor are provided so that a user can improve memory and information reception ability due to development of brain potential capacity and concentration, by using the system in both online and offline environments through a computer network(Internet). CONSTITUTION: A web server(300) enables a plurality of user computers(100) to access a home page through the Internet(200). A program database(400) links to the web server(300) for the user management. A multimedia database(500) is composed of audio and video data. A brain potential capacity development device(110) is connected to the plurality of user computers(100). Optical glasses(130) and an earphone(140) are also provided. The web server(300) serves to control the program database(400) and the multimedia database(500) which contain audio and video information. Every Internet user accesses the Internet(200) through their personal computers(100). Here, a file of the audio and video data is continuously updated and transmitted through the Internet(200) and a member management service is efficiently provided, so that the users directly use the audio and video data through the home page or store the audio and video data.

Abstract: Describes the development of an information system for the consultation of specific criminal experts' reports based on a multimedia database. These reports contain text, images, audio and video information. This database management system (DBMS) is based on an object-relational (O-R) model. This kind of DBMS is an evolution of relational and object-oriented databases, which is appropriate for multimedia data management and storage. In addition, due to the specific characteristics of the application, security techniques such as cryptography, digital signatures and digital watermarking are also used.

Abstract: The invention provides a cross-media feature learning retrieval method based on semi-supervision. The method comprises the following steps that: S1: establishing a multimedia database; S2: solving theprojection matrixes of different media types; and S3: carrying out cross-media retrieval; and S3: carrying out cross-media retrieval. The S2 comprises the following steps that: 2.1: defining a targetfunction; 2.2: optimizing the target function; and 2.3: projecting the original feature of the multimedia data to a public space. The S3 comprises the following steps that: 3.1: extracting the feature of the media data submitted by a user: according to the media type of the data submitted by the user, using a pre-trained model to extract the feature of the data; 3.2: projecting the feature vectorof the media data into a common space; 3.3: calculating a similarity between the projected feature vector and other vectors in the common space; and 3.4: returning the first k pieces of media data with the highest similarity. By use of the method, calculation complexity is lowered, noise robustness is realized, and retrieval accuracy is improved.

Abstract: A system and a method for recommending music and a moving picture based on audio signal processing are provided to recommend music or moving picture contents, which include an audio signal, to a user by using an audio fingerprint technology based on an audio signal processing. A multimedia database(150) stores meta information and audio fingerprint information concerned with music and moving picture files, and a meta searching unit(110) provides a multimedia search result concerned with a search keyword by checking the multimedia database. A fingerprint acquiring unit(130) acquires an audio fingerprint of a corresponding music or moving picture, and a multimedia recommendation unit(140) recommends music and moving picture information corresponding to an identified audio fingerprint to a user.

Abstract: Multimedia encryption algorithm has gain importance nowadays for copyright protection. Many multimedia encryption Techniques had been designed and tested software base. We will implement a library of hardware realization using FPGA of seven multimedia encryption algorithms. Simulation results had shown that blowfish provided the best result. In addition we proposed new encryption method based on cascaded techniques. This cascaded method provides a great improvement .The discussed techniques were tested on multimedia database.
