TL;DR: In this article, the authors applied metal plating on the porous substance consisting of natural or synthetic resin fiber to get electrode bases to obtain light electrodes with large strength which do not generate any cracks and damage in their swirl.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain light electrodes with large strength which do not generate any cracks and damage in their swirl by applying metal plating on the porous substance consisting of natural or synthetic resin fiber to get electrode bases CONSTITUTION:Nickel is electrolessly plated on the porous substances, such as woven and nonwoven fabrics and felt consisting of natural fiber like cellulose fiber and synthetic resin fiber like polyethylene and polypropylene Then, nickel is electrolytically plated on them The electrode base obtained in such treatment is filled with the paste mainly consisting of nickel hydroxide powder, impregnated in nickel salt solution, and electrolyzed or dried and alkaline-precipitated

TL;DR: In this article, a prepreg for fiber reinforced plastic molding is provided by applying fiber reinforced mat or loabing sheet for lamination to the outer layer of a reinforced material included with a matrix resin.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a prepreg for molding which is suitable and excellent for the operability as fiber reinforced plastic molding product by applying fiber reinforced mat or loabing sheet for lamination to the outer layer of a reinforced material included with a matrix resin. CONSTITUTION:A curing catalyst and so on are compounded to the matrix resin including the monomer for bridge formation like unsaturated polyesther resin, epoxiacrylate resin and so on. Then, this resin is included to the fiber reinforced material and that mat like glass fiber, synthetic fiber and natural fiber or loabing is laminated to its outer most layer to form prepreg base material. In the both sides or one side of the base material, cloth fiber made of glass fiber synthetic fiber and natural fiber or sheet material like glass paper, asbest paper and so on, is laminated and then protective film like polyorefin, polyester, nylon and so on, is covered over it to obtain the prepreg for molding.

TL;DR: In this paper, a natural fiber felt covered roll is used to transfer a solvent-based adhesive solution from a supply reservoir to a metal part by a natural fibre felt-covered roll, which is then dried and repeated until a layer of desired thickness is built up.
Abstract: Metal parts are coated with one or more layers of a solvent-based adhesive using a roller coating procedure. The adhesive solution is transferred from a supply reservoir to the metal part by a natural fiber felt covered roll. The freshly coated part is then dried and the coating and drying procedure repeated until a layer of adhesive of desired thickness is built up. The use of a natural fiber felt covered roll permits uniform transfer and application of the adhesive at efficiencies above 90% (ratio of adhesive on the part to total adhesive used).

TL;DR: In this paper, the propagation speed of sound and Young's modulus were improved without increment of density by shaping carbon fiber and natural fiber into a base material by paper making and subjecting this base material to resin inclusion and chemical plating processings.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the propagation speed of sound and a Young's modulus without increment of density by shaping carbon fiber of a specific Young's modulus and natural fiber with a specific ratio into a base material by paper making and by subjecting this base material to resin inclusion and chemical plating processings. CONSTITUTION:Natural fiber and carbon fiber of a Yound's modulus of 3000- 15000kg/cm are set to a weight ratio of the former 10-40% and the latter 90- 60%, and polyvinyl alcohol fiber is used as a binder to shape them into a diaphragm base material by paper making. Next, this base material is soaked into thermosetting resin such as phenol resin and silicone resin to give heat-proof and water-proof properties to the base material, and after that, the base material is subjected to the chemical plating processing to bind fibers, which constitute the diaphragm, by a metal. Thus, the propagation speed of sound and the Young's modulus can be improved without increment of density, and generation of the peak in the frequency characteristic of the high acoustic band can be suppressed.

TL;DR: In this paper, a thermoplastic synthetic resin resins is used to obtain a molding compound with excellent flexibility, strength such as impact resistance and economical efficiency, by cutting felt formed from an org. fiber contg.
Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a molding compound with excellent flexibility, strength such as impact resistance and economical efficiency, by cutting felt formed from an org. fiber contg. a thermosetting synthetic resin followed by admixture with a thermoplastic synthetic resin and extrusion into a sheet. CONSTITUTION: Fleece is formed after a thermosetting synthetic resin such as a phenol or melamine resin is dispersed on and adhered to an opened natural fiber such as cotton, and hot air at a temp. at which said thermosetting resin is molded and cured is permeated into the fleece, to form a fulky felt or molded board 1, which is supplied to cutter 2 and cut into about 1W5mm fiber length, obtaining cut fiber 3. Then about 50W70wt% said cut fiber 3 is introduced together with about 50W70wt% thermoplastic synthetic resin to kneader 5, in which the resultant mixt. is kneaded to form pellet 6. The pellet 6 is heated, molten and extruded by use of molder 7 to form molding compound sheet 8. COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio
