TL;DR: In this paper, a new procedure was proposed for activation of areneselenenenamides with phosphorus(V) and sulfur(IV) oxyhalides, where the phosphorus atom is coordinated at the selenium atom.
Abstract: A new procedure was proposed for activation of areneselenenamides with phosphorus(V) and sulfur(IV) oxyhalides. According to the 1H, 13C, and 31P NMR data, areneselenenamide reacts with phosphorus oxyhalide to form intermediate adduct in which the phosphorus atom is coordinated at the selenium. Areneselenenamides activated by phosphorus(V) oxyhalides react with alkenes (norbornene and norbornadiene) with high trans-stereoselectivity. Their reactions with terminal olefins are regioselective, and they lead to preferential formation of the corresponding Markovnikov adducts.

TL;DR: In this paper, a method for the preparation of norbornadiene/CO polyketone resins is presented, which consists of the following steps of: adding a catalyst, ligand, nitrobenzene and a mixed solvent into a reactor, introducing pure CO gas till the pressure is 2.5-4.0MPa, controlling the temperature to be 50-70 DEG C and reacting for 0.5 -4.5h; cooling to room temperature, taking out substances in the reactor after reducing the pressure, filtering to obtain filtrate,
Abstract: The invention discloses a method for preparing norbornadiene/CO polyketone resin. The method comprises the following steps of: adding norbornadiene, a catalyst, ligand, nitrobenzene and a mixed solvent into a reactor, introducing pure CO gas till the pressure is 2.5-4.0MPa, controlling the temperature to be 50-70 DEG C and reacting for 0.5-4.5h; cooling to room temperature, taking out substances in the reactor after reducing the pressure, filtering to obtain filtrate, precipitating with methyl alcohol, extracting and filtering, cleaning with methyl alcohol, drying and obtaining the milky white powdery norbornadiene/CO polyketone resin. The preparation method is simple, the operation is easy, the catalytic system is simple, the cost is low, the catalytic activity of the reaction system is high, can reach 3.62*103g.mol-1.h-1, and has good practicability; and for the prepared norbornadiene/CO polyketone resin, the molecular weight is large, the performance is excellent and the application in various fields for preparing high-performance thermoplastic plastic, super-engineering plastic and high-temperature-resistant plastic and the like can be met. The method has good practicability and can create good economic benefit and social benefit.

TL;DR: In the presence of a trapping agent, α,β-unsaturated selenoaldehydes and selenoketones, generated in situ by selenation of corresponding carbonyl compounds with bis[dimethylaluminum) selenide, underwent regioselective self-condensation to yield cyclic diselenide derivatives as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: α,β-Unsaturated selenoaldehydes and selenoketones, generated in situ by selenation of the corresponding carbonyl compounds with bis[dimethylaluminum) selenide, underwent regioselective self-condensation to yield cyclic diselenide derivatives. On the other hand, in the presence of a trapping agent, they underwent intermolecular Diels-Alder cycloadditions in two different modes depending on the trapping agent, that is, as a heterodiene toward norbornadiene or a dienophile toward cyclopentadiene.
