TL;DR: In this article, a repository program is presented for maintaining a history of objects stored in the repository, which comprises the steps of determining if the object is a new logical object, and if so constructing a new versioned object; and, if not retrieving from the repository an object on which a new state is to be based, then reserving the object.
Abstract: The method of the present invention is useful in a computer system having a user interface, a memory, a repository and a database. The method is a repository program executed by the computer system for maintaining a history of objects stored in the repository. The method comprises the steps of determining if the object is a new logical object, and if so constructing a new versioned object; and, if not retrieving from the repository an object on which a new state is to be based. If the new state is being derived from only one object, then reserving the object. If the state is being derived from two objects, then retrieving from the repository the other object on which the new state is based, and merging the two objects. If the state changes are to be retained, then replacing the object; and, if the state changes are not to be retained, then unreserving the object.

TL;DR: This paper presents an approach to extract the object oriented elements of the required system by mapping the 'parts of speech- tagged' words onto the Object Oriented Modeling Language elements using mapping rules which is the key to a successful implementation of user requirements.
Abstract: Application of natural language understanding to requirements gathering remains a field that has only limited explorations so far. This paper presents an approach to extract the object oriented elements of the required system. This approach starts with assigning the parts of speech tags to each word in the given input document. Further, to resolve the ambiguity posed by the pronouns, the pronoun resolutions are performed before normalizing the text. Finally the elements of the object-oriented system namely the classes, the attributes, methods and relationships between the classes, sequence of actions, the use-cases and actors are identified by mapping the 'parts of speech- tagged' words onto the Object Oriented Modeling Language elements using mapping rules which is the key to a successful implementation of user requirements.

TL;DR: In this paper, a standardization review node software object mathematically manipulates the models to highlight similarities and dissimilarities of defined characteristics in the models, and expresses the manipulated models in a format in which a relative position of each of manipulated models may be determined, where the relative position reflects the degree of similarity or dissimilarity to the other manipulated models, analyzes the selected bills of resources based upon the expression of the manipulated model, and produces the standard bill of resources.
Abstract: An information management system produces a standard bill of resources based on bills of resources that include a list of resources to be utilized in performing a procedure. The system includes a general purpose computer system with storage means, processing means, display means, and input means. Information management software installed on the general purpose computer includes node software objects providing a health care information management function, including a clinical pathway node software object, a case management node software object, and a standardization review node software object. The clinical pathway node software object creates clinical pathway module software objects, including resource software objects and container software objects. The standardization review node software object selects bills of resources from a known universe of bills of resources, and develops models corresponding to the selected bills of resources, where the models include values which correspond to a number of units of given resources from the selected bills of resources. The standardization review node software object mathematically manipulates the models to highlight similarities and dissimilarities of defined characteristics in the models, expresses the manipulated models in a format in which a relative position of each of the manipulated models may be determined, where the relative position of each of the manipulated models reflects the degree of similarity or dissimilarity to the other manipulated models, analyzes the selected bills of resources based upon the expression of the manipulated models, and produces the standard bill of resources based on the analysis of the selected bills of resources.

TL;DR: In this article, a graphical user interface includes an iterator link object which is capable of removably linking a source object having multiple elements to a target object, on the occurrence of trigger events, an action iterates over each individual element of the source object and is targeted to the target object.
Abstract: A method, program product, and system create visual representations of iterator link objects. A graphical user interface of the present invention enables users to visually program iterative applications without having to use a programming language. The graphical user interface includes an iterator link object which is capable of removably linking a source object having multiple elements to a target object. On the occurrence of a trigger event, an action iterates over each individual element of the source object and is targeted to the target object. Therefore, the present invention enables the user to visually link multiple source objects to a target object. Furthermore, by utilizing more than one iterator link object, linked objects can be chained linked to other linked objects.
