Abstract: A circuit-breaker with moulded casing (10) of the limiter type includes an overpressure actuator (26, 27) bringing about, when an overpressure appears in the disconnection chamber (13) under the action of an arc drawn by the electrodynamic repulsion of the contacts (11, 12), actuation by a piston (26), subjected to this overpressure, of the tripping bar (23) of the circuit-breaker. The overpressure actuator constitutes a quasi-sealed unit.

Abstract: Abnormal formation pressure is currently an important phenomenon in the petroleum exploration of deepwater area in Qiongdongnan Basin.The distribution of abnormal formation pressure in the central depression belt was determined by using the new formation pressure predicting model based on the equation of balanceable stress in the pore-rock,and the factors responsible for different distributions of abnormal pressure in different sags were detected.Some conclusions have been reached:(1) The well profiles of pressure in the central depression belt could be divided into four types,i.e.,normal pressure,one segment overpressure,overpressure compartment,and cycling overpressure;(2) The top of the overpressure area becomes deeper and deeper from the continental shelf to the deep sea and also from the west to the east.(3) In the longitudinal direction,from the shallow water area to the deep water area and from the west to the east,the overpressure strides more and more formations,and its intensity becomes higher and higher from the shallow part to the depth;nevertheless,Ledong sag,Baodao sag and Beijiao sag have overpressure structures of "double-layer type".In the plane,the mighty overpressure area is distributed in Ledong-Lingshui sag and Songnan-Baodao sag,and the overpressure intensity is generally reduced from the center composes of the four sags to both the north and the south(low) uplifts.The distribution of the overpressure in the central depression belt shows regularity on the whole,but the distribution characteristics of the overpressure in different sags are different,which is caused by the terminal high subsidence rate,the characteristics of the mud,the maturity of the source rock and the features of the faults.

Abstract: Explosion vent apparatus is provided, which includes a vent support unit defining a vent opening adapted to be aligned with an area to be protected from an overpressure condition, a vent panel movably mounted on the support unit in a normal closed position blocking the outlet and movable through a first displacement away from its closed position to a first overpressure- relieving position upon application of an overpressure of one magnitude of pressure while allowing movement of the vent panel through a second and greater displacement to a second overpressure-relieving position upon application of a higher overpressure. The vent panel does not deform or rupture upon opening, and recloses after pressure relief, either under spring pressure when opened under a lower first pressure, or by a fluid actuated reclosing mechanism upon full opening of the vent panel under a higher second pressure.

TL;DR: In this article, the explosion pressure oscillation characteristics of premixed syngas/air mixtures were studied experimentally in the duct with different hydrogen concentrations and opening ratios, and the results indicated that the overpressure changes as the hydrogen fraction and opening ratio varies, and venting can mitigate the phenomenon of CRPT by increasing the opening ratio of the duct.
