TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a method for improving the cooling of a molded package assembly for one or more integrated-circuit dies, each of which is attached to a die-attach paddle portion of a lead frame.
Abstract: Method and apparatus for improving the cooling of a molded package assembly for one or more integrated-circuit dies, each of which is attached to a die-attach paddle portion of a lead frame The improved package includes a molded-plastic package body which is formed around the lead frame and the attached integrated-circuit die The package body has one or more through-holes formed through it for passage of air, where the air currents are drawn by convection or forced through the through-hole for cooling the integrated-circuit die attached the die-attach paddle The die-attach paddle has a corresponding hole formed in it and the through-hole formed in the package body is located adjacent to the hole in the die-attach paddle to form a through-channel through the lead frame and the molded plastic body for convection cooling The die-attach paddle is covered with molded plastic material so that the die-attach paddle is not exposed in the through-channel The through-hole formed in the molded-plastic body has inwardly projecting portions which form cooling fins The lower surface of the package body is spaced apart from the ends of the external leads to provide a standoff space from which cooling air is drawn

TL;DR: In this article, a toner cartridge for an electrophotographic device including a housing having a reservoir that is in fluid communication with an exit port is described. But the assembly is not described.
Abstract: A toner cartridge for an electrophotographic device including a housing having a reservoir that is in fluid communication with an exit port. A first end wall has a recess on an inner surface thereof in fluid communication with the reservoir and the exit port. A partially threaded drive shaft has an end received in the second end wall. An exit paddle having a drive hub is detachably mounted on the drive shaft near an unthreaded portion. Arms on the drive hub are received in the recess. A drive hub axial extension is received in the first end wall. The housing rotatably supports the drive shaft and exit paddle. A translatable toner platform rotatably connects to the drive shaft. When the drive shaft rotates the toner platform translates for moving toner toward the exit port and rotates the exit paddle for delivering toner from the exit port.

TL;DR: In this paper, a hand paddle for swimming is described, which comprises a glove-like body having an interior recess for receiving a human hand, the body having a relatively flat bottom surface and a convex upper surface, the upper surface being cambered longitudinally and laterally so that the highest point of upper surface is centrally located in that surface.
Abstract: A hand paddle for use in swimming is disclosed which comprises a glove-like body having an interior recess for receiving a human hand, said body having a relatively flat bottom surface and a convex upper surface, the upper surface being cambered longitudinally and laterally so that the highest point of the upper surface is centrally located in that surface

TL;DR: In this article, a pair of colinearly movable, reciprocating paddles for bumping the side edges of sheets flowing serially along a feed path is disclosed, which can be used to establish registry between the sheets and the plate cylinder of an offset printing press supplied with the sheets.
Abstract: A pair of colinearly movable, reciprocating paddles for bumping the side edges of sheets flowing serially along a feed path is disclosed. The sheets travel between the reciprocating paddles in a direction generally perpendicular to paddle movement. The paddles jog the sheets into a correct alignment position to establish registry between the sheets and, for example, the plate cylinder of an offset printing press supplied with the sheets. The distance between each paddle and the sheet feed path centerline can be adjusted during reciprocating movement of the paddle to meet registry requirements. A disengagement mechanism permits separate use of either paddle.
