TL;DR: In this paper, a method of transporting and processing a viscous slurry, mash, or insoluble in a liquid carrier is described, where there is provided a container having a paddle system disposed therein, the paddle system configured to oscillate in a limited, back and forth fashion so as to lift and shift the fluid mass toward a center portion of the container interior via gravity, and to the bottom portion thereof for recirculation and blending.
Abstract: A method of transporting and processing a viscous slurry, mash, or insoluble in a liquid carrier wherein there is provided a container having a paddle system disposed therein, the paddle system configured to oscillate in a limited, back and forth fashion so as to lift and shift the fluid mass toward a center portion of the container interior via gravity, and to a bottom portion thereof for recirculation and blending. The method further includes a coupling piece connected to the paddle system, and a portable drive system, the method steps including transporting the container filled with the insoluble and liquid carrier, coupling the portable drive system to the coupling piece, and actuating the portable drive system for oscillating the paddle system via the coupling piece.

TL;DR: In this paper, a custom-built instrumented paddle system based on optical fiber technology was developed to measure real-time handgrip loading and blade loading distribution during on-water kayaking Thirty female participants (15 competitive and 15 recreational kayakers) were asked to sprint across a 50-meter swimming pool as fast as they could in a kayak using the instrumented paddling provided The loading characteristics of the right hand grip and 9 areas of each blade were recorded and analyzed via a customized software.
Abstract: This study aimed to evaluate on-water kayak paddling performance using a custom-built instrumented paddle system based on optical fiber technology The system was developed to measure real-time handgrip loading and blade loading distribution during on-water kayaking Thirty female participants (15 competitive and 15 recreational kayakers) were asked to sprint across a 50-meter swimming pool as fast as they could in a kayak using the instrumented paddle provided The loading characteristics of the right handgrip and 9 areas of each blade were recorded and analyzed via a customized software Noticeable differences in timing and loading variables were observed between the two groups Compared to recreational paddlers, competitive paddlers were characterized by shorter water phase duration (p < 005), higher handgrip loading (p < 005), and higher blade force (p < 005) and impulse (p < 005) in most regions of the blade In conclusion, this study successfully developed an instrumented paddle system using optical fiber sensors to measure on-water kayak paddling performance The results can provide useful information for coaches and athletes to obtain performance feedback and to monitor training

TL;DR: In this article, a container is supported on a stand and equipped with a bottom plate 3 and an upper plate 4 and a stirring paddle shaft 8 supported on the center axial line of the container in a rotatable manner.
Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a garbage treatment apparatus converting garbage to effective resources using bacteria. CONSTITUTION: A container 1 is supported on a stand 2 and equipped with a bottom plate 3 and an upper plate 4 and a stirring paddle shaft 8 is supported on the center axial line of the container in a rotatable manner between the bottom plate 3 and the upper plate 4 and a plurality of stirring paddles 9 extending in the radial direction vertical to the axial line are attached to the stirring paddle shaft 8 and an openable and closable lid 10 for charging garbage is provided to the upper end range of the container 1. An ozone introducing port 11, a gasifying device 14 and a non-gasified matter take-out port 13 are provided to the side wall of the container 1 and a motor 17 and a compressor 18 are housed in the stand 2 and the motor 17 is connected to the stirring paddle shaft 8 so as to drive the shaft 8 while the compressor 18 can eject compressed air to the bottom plate 3 through a nozzle block 20.
