TL;DR: A baseball training bat with a square handle and a paddle coupled to the square handle is described in this paper, where a face of the paddle is aligned with a side of the handle.
Abstract: A baseball training bat is provided with a square handle and a paddle coupled to the square handle. A face of the paddle is aligned with a side of the square handle. The thumb is placed on the handle in conjunction with a wide side of the bat. This helps the hitter to get square to the ball by keeping his or her top hand in a palm up position. When the hitter swings the training bat, the top hand is palm up so the wide side of the bat can strike a ball. This forces the hitter to get the hands under the ball and take the proper path to the ball. The flat paddle gives the hitter instant feedback and lets the hitter know when they correctly hit the ball with a line drive. Other embodiments are provided.

TL;DR: In this article, a kitchen hand tool for crushing, slicing, or juicing food products is described by closing two handles that rotate a drive gear that engages the ratcheting tooth portion of a crush paddle resulting in the movement of the crush paddle toward a basket, crushing and discharge of the food item through the basket.
Abstract: A kitchen hand tool for crushing, slicing, or juicing food products. The tool is operated by closing two handles that rotate a drive gear that engages the ratcheting tooth portion of a crush paddle resulting in the movement of the crush paddle toward a basket, crushing and discharge of the food item through the basket. A drive pawl forces the drive gear to rotate counterclockwise, which in turn forces ratcheting tooth portion and subsequently the crushing paddle down in a clockwise direction applying crushing force on the garlic or any item placed in the crushing area. As the drive gear turns until it clicks past a locking pawl. This cycle of opening and closing the handles is repeated until the crush paddle is fully advanced and can move no further and is against the basket.

TL;DR: A waist clamp in the form of a generally semi-circular member constructed of resilient material such as plastic which clampingly engages the waist area of a child using the device with a paddle or similar device mounted thereon and projecting therefrom is described in this article.
Abstract: A waist clamp in the form of a generally semi-circular member constructed of resilient material such as plastic which clampingly engages the waist area of a child using the device with a paddle or similar device mounted thereon and projecting therefrom. The user''s body is alternately twisted from side to side to strike opposite sides of the paddle. In the preferred embodiment the paddle is a hollow drum and produces a distinctly higher pitched sound when struck by the ball near the peripheral edge of the drum heads.

TL;DR: In this article, the utility model relates to a redundant electric pitch-regulated system based on a super capacitor, where a PLC (Programmable logic controller) module and a paddle-pitched-regulated driving module are arranged between the PLC and the driving module, and when the three PLC modules are all failed, the corresponding driving motor is directly driven/braked by the three-phase alternating current.
Abstract: The utility model relates to a redundant electric pitch-regulated system based on a super capacitor. Each paddle pitch-regulated driving module of the redundant electric pitch-regulated system contains alternating current and spare direct current power supply inputs; the paddle pitch-regulated driving module is used for directly driving/braking a corresponding driving motor through a main power supply contactor/main brake contactor, and after an individual paddle pitch-regulated driving module is failed, the paddle pitch-regulated driving modules without faults can also be used for driving/braking driving motors corresponding to the failed paddle pitch-regulated driving modules through a redundant contactor after the corresponding driving motor is driven/braked by the paddle pitch-regulated driving module without faults; when the three paddle pitch-regulated driving modules are all failed, the corresponding driving motor is directly driven/braked by the three-phase alternating current; a direct-current power supply consists of a super capacitor charger, a super capacitor and a BOOSTER circuit which provides working power supply for corresponding paddle drivers and can also provide working power supply for other paddle drivers; and a communication wire is arranged between a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) module and the paddle pitch-regulated driving module.

TL;DR: The stored energy device interlock assembly (200) provided in this paper is structured to prevent the closing assembly (54) and/or the latch assembly (180) from being actuated in selected configurations.
Abstract: The stored energy device interlock assembly (200) provided is structured to prevent the closing assembly (54) and/or the latch assembly (180) from being actuated in selected configurations. The interlock assembly (200) includes a latch D-shaft link assembly (210), an on-command paddle assembly (212), and an on-command paddle actuator (214). The latch D-shaft link assembly (210) is pivotally coupled to, and structured to rotate, the latch assembly D-shaft (188). The on-command paddle assembly (212) is structured to move the D-shaft link assembly (210). The on-command paddle actuator (214) is structured to move the on-command paddle assembly (212). The interlock assembly (200) is structured to disengage the latch assembly D-shaft (188) from the on-command paddle assembly (212) in selected configurations of the electrical switching apparatus (10). The interlock assembly (200) provided herein has two pivotal degrees of freedom as opposed to a pivotal degree of freedom and a sliding degree of freedom.
