Abstract: According to example embodiments, a layout design system includes a processor, a storage module configured to store a standard cell design, and a generation module. The standard cell design includes an active area and a normal gate area on the active area. The generation module is configured to receive the standard cell design, to adjust a width of an active cut design crossing the active area of the standard cell design, and to output a chip design including a design element using the processor. The design element includes the active cut design having the width adjusted.

Abstract: Grid in graphic design is a well-known tool. It is used for planning and creating graphical layouts. Though lot of empirical literature on grids is available through various case studies and visual samples, there is hardly any articulation of the design process involving grids. This paper tries to present the formalism for design knowledge in application of grids in graphic design. The function-behaviour-structure framework is applied to grids for the understanding of design process. This framework is used to create a conceptual model for a grid in action and to define its variables. To demonstrate its significance, the potential advantages of this new approach are discussed.

Abstract: The layout of an industrial park can significantly impact its economic benefit and safety. In terms of economy, a good layout means shorter pipeline length, leading to lower pipeline cost and material transport cost. In practice, the layout of an industrial park is manually determined based on experience according to the relationship of upstream and downstream. In academia, few systematic programming method has been proposed, and most of them only consider one-to-one connection pattern, pipeline networks with multi-branch are ignored. For systematic programming method, it has always been difficult to calculate the minimum length of pipeline network with multi-branch in an industrial park. FLUTE (Fast Lookup Table Based Wirelength Estimation Technique) algorithm is an accurate and fast method to solve rectilinear Steiner minimum tree problem based on a lookup table. In this paper, a novel method based on FLUTE algorithm is came up to calculate the minimum length of steam pipeline network in an industrial park and determine the layout. The total pipeline cost, which includes steam pipeline cost and material pipeline cost, is set as an objective function. Genetic algorithm is employed to optimize the layout of several plants in an industrial park. In the case study, it can be seen that, the calculation time is significantly reduced, and a better layout is obtained.

Abstract: The layout design problem is a kind of nesting problems that is naturally NP-hard and very difficult to solve. Layout designing of machine is even more difficult because of its nesting items are actually machine parts that have both irregular shapes and complex constraints. A feasible way to solve machine layout problem is to employ ameliorative algorithms, such as simulated annealing algorithm. But these kinds of algorithms are usually CPU-time thirsty, sometime the computing time is unbearable. In this paper, the authors advocate to parallel the simulated annealing algorithm on a multi-computer network (a parallel cluster). We have combined Message Passing Interface (MPI) with Visual C++ to integrate Simulated Annealing Algorithm based on Parallel Cluster and Engineering Layout Design Support System. An engineering example about vehicle dynamical cabin layout design is presented to test validity of the Algorithm. If appropriate temperature piece is chosen and seemly a number of nodes are used, the integration of Simulated Annealing Algorithm based on Parallel Cluster and Engineering Layout Design Support System definitely will improve the efficiency for engineer.

Abstract: The invention discloses a webpage display method and a webpage display device. The method includes acquiring data of a target page according to information of a target event, wherein the target page corresponds to the target event; analyzing the data by a dynamic page language to generate dynamic elements in the target page; calculating the dynamic elements according to a preset algorithm to acquire a calculation result; laying out the dynamic elements according to the calculation result to generate the target page, and displaying the target page subjected to layout. The webpage display method and the webpage display device have the advantages that the data of the target page are analyzed by the dynamic page language, so that resource waste is avoided, memory consumption is reduced, and the problem of complex page layout is solved.
