TL;DR: In this paper, a composite antenna feed subsystem concentrated in a small area at the prime focus of the parabola of a satellite parabolic reflector accomodates a plurality of frequency bands.
Abstract: A composite antenna feed subsystem concentrated in a small area at the prime focus of the parabola of a satellite parabolic reflector accomodates a plurality of frequency bands. The arrays comprising the subsystem are mounted on the top cover of a communication module. A multimode horn is arranged at the center of the subsystem axis which functions at X- and C-band frequencies, and a cross-array consisting of individual elements form the S-band feed, with one arm of the S-band array containing an element mutually shared with the L-band array. Provision is also made for UHF frequencies, and a dipole arrangement for VHF frequencies is arranged around the S-band arms.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a solar cell based on secondary reflective condensation, which consists of a parabolic solar condenser, a secondary parabolic reflector, a beam splitter and a photovoltaic cell set.
Abstract: The invention belongs to the technical field of solar cells and relates to a solar cell based on secondary reflective condensation. The solar cell comprises a parabolic solar condenser, a secondary parabolic reflector, a beam splitter and a photovoltaic cell set, wherein the photovoltaic cell set is composed of photovoltaic cells sensitive to light with different wavelengths; the parabolic solar condenser is opposite to the reflecting surface of the secondary parabolic reflector, the both are coaxial and confocal, and a hole allowing light reflected by the secondary parabolic reflector to pass through is arranged at the bottom of the parabolic solar condenser; the light passing through the hole is divided by the beam splitter into light with different wavelengths, and the light with different wavelengths respectively enters the photovoltaic cells sensitive to corresponding light with different wavelengths in the photovoltaic cell set. The invention further provides another solar cell based on secondary reflective condensation according to the same inventive concept. The solar cell fully displays the advantages of the parabolic secondary reflection, can save material of the photovoltaic cell, and improve the efficiency and product grade.

TL;DR: In this paper, a light assembly for a motor vehicle includes a light source and a parabolic reflector for reflecting light emanating from the light source in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle.
Abstract: A light assembly for a motor vehicle includes a light source and a parabolic reflector for reflecting light emanating from the light source in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. A lens is included in the light assembly. The lens is made from a transparent material and is positioned to produce total internal reflection of a portion of the light emanating from the light source and parabolic reflector. The totally internally reflected light rays are projected in a direction transverse to the motor vehicle. This enables a single light assembly to satisfy safety requirements pertaining to light projection both in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle and in its transverse direction.
