TL;DR: It is shown that there are consistent and decidable many- valued systems of propositional logic which satisfy two or all the three criteria for non- trivial inconsistent theories by da Costa (1974).
Abstract: The present article shows that there are consistent and decidable many- valued systems of propositional logic which satisfy two or all the three criteria for non- trivial inconsistent theories by da Costa (1974). The weaker one of these paraconsistent system is also able to avoid a series of paradoxes which come up when classical logic is applied to empirical sciences. These paraconsistent systems are based on a 6- valued system of propositional logic for avoiding difficulties in several domains of empirical science (Weingartner (2009)).

TL;DR: In this article, the authors deal with the nature and merits of judgments of value in paraconsistent aesthetics, discussing the concept of "paraconsistent beauty" that is flexible and varied.
Abstract: This work deals with the nature and merits of judgments of value in paraconsistent aesthetics, discussing the concept of “paraconsistent beauty” that is flexible and varied. The possibility of the existence of a negative paraconsistent aesthetics is considered, because the discussion on paradoxes includes the problem of negation. There are comments on aspects of paraconsistent aesthetics in the absurd, in literature, in tragedy and in comedy. In paraconsistent aesthetics we take profit of the main ideas of a new kind of logic, the so-called paraconsistent logic.

TL;DR: Using the conceptions of general correlation and general self-correlation, authors discuss the applicability and correlation of authentic logic and contribute to perfecting authentic logic in artificial intelligence reasoning, and offering a new expression way of universal logic.
Abstract: In these years, universal logic has developed greatly. As a kind of concrete universal logic, authentic logic is used to analyze the security of cryptographic protocols. This paper firstly puts forward relational conceptions and gives the structure's expression of object-oriented universal logic. Then authors analyze the logic structure's expression of authentic logic with the example: BAN logic. Using the conceptions of general correlation and general self-correlation, authors discuss the applicability and correlation of authentic logic. This work can contribute to perfecting authentic logic in artificial intelligence reasoning, and offering a new expression way of universal logic.

TL;DR: This appears to be the first tree-format presentation of the standard linear dynamic proof system typical of Adaptive Logics, which offers the advantage of full transparency in the formulation of locally derivable rules, a connection between restricted inference-rules and their adaptive counterpart, and the formulations of abnormalities as a subtype of well-formed formulas.
Abstract: We present a multi-conclusion natural deduction calculus characterizing the dynamic reasoning typical of Adaptive Logics The resulting system AdaptiveND is sound and complete with respect to the propositional fragment of adaptive logics based on CLuN This appears to be the first tree-format presentation of the standard linear dynamic proof system typical of Adaptive Logics It offers the advantage of full transparency in the formulation of locally derivable rules, a connection between restricted inference-rules and their adaptive counterpart, and the formulation of abnormalities as a subtype of well-formed formulas These features of the proposed calculus allow us to clarify the relation between defeasible and multiple-conclusion approaches to classical recapture

TL;DR: Paraconsistent logics may be viewed as one of the last elements in a series of rapid developments in science in the 19th and early 20th c., triggered by the appearance of non-Euclidean geometries as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: Paraconsistent logics may be viewed as one of the last elements in a series of rapid developments in science in the 19th and early 20th c., triggered by the appearance of non-Euclidean geometries. The philosophy of conventionalism, which gave a metatheoretical framework to the basic changes involved, may also help in evaluating the truth import of (paraconsistent) logic and in determining its relation to ontology.
