TL;DR: It is shown that the external quantum efficiency of a planar inverted perovskite solar cell can be significantly improved by simply texturing the Poly [bis (4-phenyl)(2,4,6-trimethylphenyl)amine] (PTAA) layer by washing the film prepared from mixed polymer solution of PTAA.
Abstract: The continuing increase of the efficiency of perovskite solar cells has pushed the internal quantum efficiency approaching 100%, which means the light-to-carrier and then the following carrier tran...

Abstract: Organo metal halide perovskite has attracted considerable attention recently due to its distinctive properties that make it especially useful in photovoltaic solar cells. In this work we demonstrate high open circuit voltage of 1.35 V using Al2O3/CH3NH3PbBr3 perovskite solar cells without a hole conductor. The contact potential difference under light measured by surface photovoltage spectroscopy of CH3NH3PbBr3 was more than twice that of CH3NH3PbI3, which results in smaller surface potential for the Al2O3/CH3NH3PbBr3 cells. Incident modulated photovoltage spectroscopy shows a longer recombination lifetime for the Al2O3/CH3NH3PbBr3 cells than for the TiO2/CH3NH3PbI3 cells or for the TiO2/CH3NH3PbBr3 cells, further supporting the high open circuit voltage. The possibility to gain high open circuit voltage even without a hole transport material in perovskite solar cells shows that the perovskite/metal oxide interface has a major effect on the open circuit voltage in perovskite based solar cells.

TL;DR: This work reports an all-solution route to produce semi-transparent high efficiency perovskite solar cells that is simply deposited by spray-coating silver nanowires under room temperature using fabrication conditions and solvents that do not damage or dissolve the underlying PSC.
Abstract: In this work, we report an all-solution route to produce semi-transparent high efficiency perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Instead of an energy-consuming vacuum process with metal deposition, the top electrode is simply deposited by spray-coating silver nanowires (AgNWs) under room temperature using fabrication conditions and solvents that do not damage or dissolve the underlying PSC. The as-fabricated semi-transparent perovskite solar cell shows a photovoltaic output with dual side illuminations due to the transparency of the AgNWs. With a back cover electrode, the open circuit voltage increases significantly from 1.01 to 1.16 V, yielding high power conversion efficiency from 7.98 to 10.64%.
