TL;DR: The obtained results classify projection out of counterfactuals as a reliable test for projective meanings in the cross-linguistic perspective, while shedding more light on the semantics of nur and conditionals, on the other.
Abstract: The paper presents the results of the experiment on the projective meaning of nur (German: only). The data from German shows that the prejacent of nur projects easily out of counterfactual if-clauses, whereas its projective behaviour changes when it is embedded in indicative if-clauses. The obtained results classify projection out of counterfactuals as a reliable test for projective meanings in the cross-linguistic perspective, on the one hand, while shedding more light on the semantics of nur and conditionals, on the other.

Abstract: A coating thickness inspection system based on the serial robot has 6 domination of freedom (6 DoF) was proposed to improve the precision and convenience of the procedure of inspecting. The system consists of one functional part, two movement facilities and one central processing unit. The line-structured light sensor is the key part which is responsible for obtaining the strip image generated by the intersection of the structure light plane and the surface of the inspected work piece. The calibration method for this system contains two steps: Firstly, based on the particular designed 2D plane target and the known position information of the movement facilities, the parameters about the hand-eye relationship and camera in the sensor were calibrated. Then, the parameter of the laser plane was obtained via the principle of perspective three points and double cross ratio invariance. Only one auxiliary tools, the designed plane target is used for convenience on the field. Experiments showed that this system was accurate and efficient, besides which a coating thickness inspection system was implemented.

TL;DR: In this article, a model that is created as a conventional image of objective reality, using a linguistic code with a precise system of rules, is presented, in tents, illustrating, within the code of projective transformations, that operation that transforms on the plane (or rather on a plane π ≡ π') the same relations that exist between the figures in the perspective, the homology, understood as the process capable of creating an image in which the original one is recognizable in its transformed, preserves its characteristics, and from it we are able to recognize, backwards,
Abstract: The processes of a projective nature, through the construction of images, both rigorous and expressive, make it possible to translate the spatial qualities and figurative properties of the space that surrounds us on the level of design, making it possible for those who read the image, the recognition of the object of the space. The model that is created, as a conventional image of objective reality, uses a linguistic code with a precise system of rules. The work presented here, in tents, illustrates, within the code of projective transformations, that operation that transforms on the plane (or rather on a plane π ≡ π’) the same relations that exist between the figures in the perspective, the homology, understood as the process capable of creating an image in which the original one is recognizable in its transformed, preserves its characteristics, and from it we are able to recognize, backwards, the initial image.

TL;DR: The paper puts forward the algebraic resultant to analytically determine the camera-point (camera projective center to control point) distances, and presents the closed form solution of camera position and orientation based on SVD.
Abstract: Perspective 3-point problem (P3P) is one of the most fundamental issues in computer vision and photogrammetry. The paper puts forward the algebraic (multipolynomial) resultant to analytically determine the camera-point (camera projective center to control point) distances, and presents the closed form solution of camera position and orientation based on SVD. The numerical case study shows the approach is correct and efficient for the case of arbitrary pose angles image.

TL;DR: In this paper, a methodology based on the concept of epipolar line, for the reconstruction of a 3D line, from two arbitrary perspective views is given, in which the points in the second image plane, which correspond to points from the first image plane are found by using epipolar lines method, by considering all the points of the first plane.
Abstract: Reconstuction of a line in 3-D space using arbitrary perspectve views involves the problem of obtaining the set of parameters representing the line. This is widely used for many applications of 3-D object recognition and machine inspection. A performance analysis of the reconstruction process in the presence of noise in the image planes is necessary in certain applications which require a large degree of accuarcy. In this paper, a methodology, which is based on the concept of epipolar line, for the reconstruction of a 3-D line, from two arbitrary perspective views is given. In this problem the points in the second image plane, which correspond to points in the first image plane are found by using epipolar line method, by considering all the points in the first image plane. Then triangulation law is used to find the points in 3-D space. Using least square regression in 3-D, the parameters of a line in 3-D space are found. This least square regression problem is solved by two different methods. Simulation study results of this epipolar line based method, in presence of noise, as well as results of error analysis are given.
