TL;DR: In this article, plate-shaped concrete blocks exhibiting a significantly larger format than traditional paving slabs are proposed to reduce the noise generated by rolling traffic, and the concrete block is equipped at the sides with upright slots, which adjoin the absorption layer of porous concrete.
Abstract: In the case of earth coverings made from concrete paving slabs, the noise generated by rolling traffic is disadvantageous. In order to reduce the generation of noise, plate-shaped concrete blocks exhibiting a significantly larger format than traditional paving slabs are proposed. The top side of the concrete blocks consists of a sound absorption layer (13) of porous concrete. On the bottom side, the concrete block is curved inwards, so that the fringe areas are subjected to a higher load. This results in a stable situation. For the purpose of draining off the surface water, the concrete block is equipped at the sides with upright slots (16), which adjoin the absorption layer (13) of porous concrete.

TL;DR: In this paper, a filter element consisting of a molded body of porous concrete, which element is arranged in the water stream of a purification system, is described, where the filter element may contain one or more additives to enhance adsorption of pollutants, such as heavy metal ions, phosphorous, hydrocarbons or other target soluble pollutants.
Abstract: The invention relates to a filter element consisting of a molded body of porous concrete, which element is arranged in the water stream of a purification system. In particular, the filter element ( 10 ) is a molded pervious concrete layer arranged as a partition between a lower compartment ( 9 ) and an upper compartment ( 11 ) of a treatment chamber ( 8 ), wherein the water inlet ( 12 ) opens into the lower compartment ( 9 ) and a water outlet ( 17 ) issues from the upper compartment ( 11 ). The pervious concrete filter layer may contain one or more additives to enhance adsorption of pollutants, such as heavy metal ions, phosphorous, hydrocarbons or other target soluble pollutants.

Abstract: A regenerated water-permeable concrete used for sidewalk and low-load pavement is prepared from cement, water, broken stone, regenerated waste concrete or natural sand and stone, flyash, silica gel powder, slag powder, etc through proportional mixing, adding water and stirring. It can be used for paving road. The paved road is first cured in water at 23 +/- 2 deg.C and then naturally. Its advantages are 15-30 % of porosity, high water permeability, high strength and use of waste as raw materials.

TL;DR: In this article, the Ufapore TCO surfactant was chosen for the further research as the most suitable for production of composite material and the properties of composite matrix are analyzed comprehensively.
Abstract: Expanded polystyrene is used as packing material in various industrial fields in the world. A large quantity of expanded polystyrene is consumed, and is disposed as a waste. On purpose to utilize packing tare waste of expanded polystyrene, composite material is created. The matrix in this composite material is porous concrete and insertion – crushed tare waste. The properties of composite matrix are analyzed comprehensively in this article. As it is known, porous concrete is one of types of lightweight concrete. One of ways to get porous concrete is the usage of surfactants in the formative mixtures. It has been widely used to decrease the density of concrete and to improve its thermal properties. The surfactant molecules help entrain air bubbles and stabilize them in the fresh cement paste. Researches with 6 different types of surfactants were made. The Ufapore TCO surfactant was chosen for the further research as the most suitable for production of composite material.
