TL;DR: In this article, the authors focused on the construction and maintenance activities for Portland cement pervious concrete as used in selected sites in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina, and suggested construction specifications were suggested for Portland Cement Pervious Concrete pavement.
Abstract: The information in this report focused on the construction and maintenance activities for Portland cement pervious concrete as used in selected sites in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina. Construction specifications were suggested for Portland cement pervious concrete pavement in regional conditions typical to the States of Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina based on current construction practices and updated as a result of this research. Contractor certification is necessary. A total of 30 pervious concrete cores were extracted from actual operating pervious concrete sites and evaluated for infiltration rates before and after various rehabilitation techniques. The pervious concrete field sites investigated ranged in service life from 6 to 20 years and exhibited regionally similar structural integrity, infiltration rates, pavement cross sections and subsurface soils. The infiltration rates were performed at the same pressure head for comparative purposes. The techniques were pressure washing, vacuum sweeping and a combination of the two methods. For cores from pavements properly installed, it was found that the three methods of maintenance typically resulted in a 200% or greater increase over the original infiltration rates of the pervious concrete cores. However, it was noted that pressure washing may dislodge pollutants that can not be captured before entering receiving waters, thus in these situations, vacuum sweeping may be the preferred method.

TL;DR: In this paper, a pervious concrete is composed of, by weight, 260-440 parts of cement, 90-150 parts of second-class coal ash and 90-160 parts of slag powder, 1500-1650 parts of broken stone, water, a binding material, a lime concrete reinforcing agent, polycarboxylate superplasticizer, inorganic mineral oxide pigments and an oleoresin top facing agent.
Abstract: The invention belongs to the technical field of concrete and particularly relates to a pervious concrete formula and a construction method. According to the formula, the pervious concrete is composed of, by weight, 260-440 parts of cement, 90-150 parts of second-class coal ash, 90-160 parts of slag powder, 1500-1650 parts of broken stone, water, a binding material, a lime concrete reinforcing agent, polycarboxylate superplasticizer, inorganic mineral oxide pigments and an oleoresin top facing agent, wherein the mixing ratio of water to lime is 0.25-0.40, and the mixing ratio of water to the binding material is 0.25-0.40. The binding material is a mixture of cement, second-class coal ash and slag powder with the mixing ratio of 3:1.5:1. The oleoresin top facing agent is acrylic resin.

TL;DR: The water permeable concrete is composed of the following components in parts by weight: 80-120 parts of cement, 220-270 parts of stones, 70-100 parts of coarse sand, 7-13 parts of silica fume or coal fly ash, 6-13 part of a vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer emulsion, 0.1-0.3 part of polyethylene fiber, 25-35 parts of water, and 0.8-1.3 parts of a water reducing agent.
Abstract: The invention discloses water permeable concrete and a water permeable concrete pipe for collecting rainwater. The water permeable concrete is composed of the following components in parts by weight: 80-120 parts of cement, 220-270 parts of stones, 70-100 parts of coarse sand, 7-13 parts of silica fume or coal fly ash, 6-13 parts of a vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer emulsion, 0.1-0.3 part of a polyethylene fiber, 25-35 parts of water, and 0.8-1.3 part of a water reducing agent. The water permeable concrete pipe is formed by bonding an arc-shaped pipe wall prepared from the water permeable concrete with an ordinary concrete pipe wall; when in use, the ordinary concrete pipe wall is placed at the lower side, and the pipe wall prepared from the water permeable concrete is placed at the upper side. The prepared concrete pipe enables the water permeable coefficient to reach 1-2 mm/s, also can guarantee that the pore diameter is small and uniform, and effectively prevents blocking of pores.

TL;DR: In this paper, the performance of pervious concrete at sites where it has been in use for several years is explored, where the authors examine infiltration rates for eight parking lots and their subsoils.
Abstract: This report is part three of a four part report that explores the performance of pervious concrete at sites where it has been in use for several years The reports 1 examine infiltration rates for eight pervious concrete parking lots and their subsoils; 2 investigate pervious concrete construction and maintenance techniques; 3 review the compressive strength of pervious concrete compared to conventional concrete; and 4 evaluate the wear and infiltration of a pervious concrete roadway shoulder
