TL;DR: In this paper, the authors propose a profile to be clip-mounted to the body of a vehicle in order to fulfill a function relating to sealing, damping, decoration or the like.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a profile to be clip-mounted. This profile comprises a tubular core 1 open longitudinally, made from a hard plastomer or elastomer, co-extruded with a seal 9 made of soft elastomer or plastomer, and with a membrane 7 which is also made of soft elastomer or plastomer and which closes the tubular cavity 2 of the core 1. TL;DR: In this article, a composite material comprising a silicone elastomer combined with another component, which is either a vulcanisable (crosslinkable) or thermoplastic elastomers, or is a plastomer, having properties which are complementary to those of the silicone elasticity is described.
Abstract: Composite material comprising a silicone elastomer combined with another component, which is a vulcanisable (crosslinkable) or thermoplastic elastomer, or is a plastomer, having properties which are complementary to those of the silicone elastomer The combination is produced by way of a bonding (binding) means interposed between the two components of the composite material; the bonding (binding) means is either a mechanical means or a grafting elastomer Application to the production of tubular structure such as pipes, tubes, thermal-insulation sleeves and, in particular, radiator hosing
