TL;DR: In this paper, a compatibilizing mixture of polypropylene, linear low density polyethylene and a low molecular weight plastomer is described, which is useful in the formation of melt spun and melt blown fibers.
Abstract: Compatibilized blends of polypropylene, linear low density polyethylene and a low molecular weight plastomer are disclosed. The blend preferably contains at least about 50 percent by weight of crystalline polypropylene, from about 10 to about 50 percent by weight of LLDPE dispersed in a matrix of the polypropylene, and a compatibilizing amount of an ethylene/alpha-olefin plastomer having a weight average molecular weight between about 5,000 to about 50,000, a density of less than about 0.90 g/cm3, and a melt index of at least about 50 dg/min. The blend is useful in the formation of melt spun and melt blown fibers. Also disclosed are spun bonded-melt blown-spun bonded fabrics made from the blends.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe a class of fluorohydrocarbon polymers which are modified by the incorporation of substitiuents bearing a functional group such as vinyl, allyl, acrylate, alkoxysilane, amido, sulfonic acid salt, pyridine, carboxylic ester, and carboxynylic salt.
Abstract: This invention relates to fluorohydrocarbon polymers which are modified by the incorporation of substitiuents bearing a functional group such as vinyl, allyl, acrylate, alkoxysilane, amido, sulfonic acid salt, pyridine, carboxylic ester, and carboxylic salt. The functional groups may be further reacted to obtain branching, grafting, or crosslinking of the polymers. Copolymers of vinylidene fluoride and hexafluoropropene such as VITON A rubber and KYNAR FLEX 2801 plastomer, are typical of the class of fluorohydrocarbon polymers which are modified to obtain the new materials of this invention.

TL;DR: In this paper, a compatible blend of polypropylene and poly(1-butene) is described, which is useful in the formation of melt spun and melt blown fibers.
Abstract: Compatible blends of polypropylene and poly(1-butene) are disclosed. The blend preferably contains from about 55 to about 90 percent by weight of crystalline polypropylene, from about 10 to about 45 percent by weight of poly(1-butene) dispersed in a matrix of the polypropylene, and an optional compatibilization enhancing amount of an ethylene/α-olefin plastomer having a weight average molecular weight between about 5,000 to about 50,000, a density from about 0.865 to about 0.90 g/cm3, and a melt index of at least about 50 dg/min. The blend is useful in the formation of melt spun and melt blown fibers. Also disclosed are spun bonded-melt blown-spun bonded fabrics made from the blends.

TL;DR: In this paper, a graft-modified polyolefin plastomer was used to obtain a composition excellent in the oil resistance, the mechanical strength, and the resistance against heat aging.
Abstract: In the case where a polyamide is blended with a specific partially crosslinked graft-modified polyolefin elastomer obtained by dynamically heat-treating a blend of a peroxide-crosslinking olefin copolymer rubber and an olefinic plastic with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or derivative thereof, an unsaturated epoxy monomer or an unsaturated hydroxy monomer in the presence of an organic peroxide, if the graft-modified polyolefin plastomer occupies a major portion, a composition excellent in the oil resistance, the mechanical strength and the resistance against heat aging is obtained and if the polyamide occupies a major portion, a composition excellent in the impact resistance, the rigidity and the tensile strength is obtained.

TL;DR: In this paper, a plastomer sheet type insulator is wound up around the periphery of a thermosetting resin bobbin to be externally wound up with a winding while a raw coil provided with the winding wound up by a similar sheet-type insulator around respective layers and then the perimeter of the raw coil is molded in specific reactive oligomer.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To manufacture the title mold coil for high frequency high voltage transformer excellent in withstand voltage by a method wherein a plastomer sheet type insulator is wound up around the periphery of a thermosetting resin bobbin to be externally wound up with a winding while a raw coil provided with the winding wound up with the similar sheet type insulator around respective layers and then the periphery of the raw coil is molded in specific reactive oligomer. CONSTITUTION:Plastomer sheet type insulator 3 is wound up around a thermosetting resin made-bobbin 1 or thermosetting resin laminated sheet bobbin set by reactive oligomer kneaded with an organic filler while a raw coil provided with one each or multiple each of windings 2 comprising the plastomer sheet type insulator 3 externally wound up around respective winding layers are formed and then the periphery of the raw coil is molded in the reactive oligomer in exceeding 50wt% of the inorganic matter content in density of 0.8g/cm -2.2g/cm . For example, the bobbin 1 comprising the thermosetting resin such as the reactive oligomer, etc., homogeneous to the molding resin 5 to be molded in rectangular cylindrical shape having slightly rounded corners. Furthermore, as for the sheet type insulator 3, polyethyleneterephthalate, etc., with mica powder stuck thereto is applicable.
