TL;DR: In this article, a space frame radome consisting of a sheet, a plastomer and a high strength polymeric fiber was proposed. But the authors did not specify the characteristics of the polymeric fibers.
Abstract: The invention relates to a space frame radome comprising a sheet, said sheet comprising high strength polymeric fibers and a plastomer, wherein said plastomer is a copolymer of ethylene or propylene and one or more C2 to C12 alpha- olefin co-monomers and wherein said plastomer has a density as measured according to ISO1183 of between 860 and 940 kg/m 3 and wherein the sheet has an areal density that is with at most 500% higher than the areal density of the high strength polymeric fibers.

TL;DR: The heat-resisting plastomer modified waterproof asphalt coil is prepared with the material including: 100# petroleum asphalt 70-75 wt, random polypropyelne 10-15 wt% and non-crystal alpha-polyolefin 10 − 15 wt%, into which some silica powder and filler may be added to improve the performance.
Abstract: The heat-resisting plastomer modified waterproof asphalt coil is prepared with the material including: 100# petroleum asphalt 70-75 wt%, random polypropyelne 10-15 wt% and non-crystal alpha-polyolefin 10-15 wt%, into which some silica powder and filler may be added to improve the performance of the coil. The production process includes: mixing 100# petroleum asphalt and non-crystal alpha-polyolefin at 190-200 deg.c; mixing with random polypropylene and silica powder and grinding at 190-200 deg.c; adding filler through stirring; and painting and forming. The coil of the present invention is heat resistant, salt resistant, alkali resistant, fatigue resistant, and is not affected by freezing-thawing cycle, so that it may be used widely in road, bridge and airport runway.
