TL;DR: In this paper, the plastic is introduced into recesses of an elastomeric profile strand, which has, or has not been stabilized by vulcanization, and the plastic may be peripherally-coated or injected onto a vulcanized or unvulcanised ELASTomeric strand.
Abstract: Elastomer and plastic, comprising plastomer or thermoplastic elastomer are permanently bonded together, forming composite material. Preferred Features: The bond is formed by extrusion. The plastic is introduced into recesses of an elastomeric profile strand, which has, or has not been stabilized by vulcanization. Such introduction takes place by injection. The plastic may be peripherally-coated or injected onto a vulcanized or unvulcanised elastomeric strand. The plastic may be shrunk as a casing onto such a strand. Advantages accrue. The frame sections and the seal may be both cut to length and welded, together. Thus manufacture is considerably simplified. Manufacture of frame and seal together, is a further outstanding simplification.

TL;DR: In this paper, a number of sequential interpenetrating polymer networks (IPNs) were synthesized and characterised using epoxidised natural rubber with 25 mole percent (ENR 25) or 50 mole percent(ENR 50) epoxy content.
Abstract: A number of sequential interpenetrating polymer networks (IPNs) were synthesised and characterised. The materials were prepared using epoxidised natural rubber (ENR) with 25 mole percent (ENR 25) or 50 mole percent (ENR 50) epoxy content with the second polymer component being either poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA), poly(ethyl methacrylate) (PEMA) or poly(butyl methacrylate) (PBMA). In the case of ENR 25/PMMA IPNs, materials with different composition ratios and crosslink densities in the elastomer and plastomer constituents were prepared. Attempts were made to produce grafted IPNs by copolymerising methacrylic acid (MAA) with the second polymer component. [Continues.]

TL;DR: In this article, a preparation method of a nano sound insulation material, BaSO4, a MgAl2O4/Fe-MOF nano material, PVC (polyvinyl chloride) resin, polyolefin plastomer (POP), stearic acid and chlorinated paraffin are taken as main raw materials.
Abstract: The invention discloses a preparation method of a nano sound insulation material. BaSO4, a MgAl2O4/Fe-MOF nano material, PVC (polyvinyl chloride) resin, polyolefin plastomer (POP), stearic acid and chlorinated paraffin are taken as main raw materials, an organic metal porous complex Fe-MOF is prepared by adopting an electrolysis technology, MgAl2O4 and a metal crystal material are subjected to silicone coupling treatment, so that sound insulation functional particles with different grain sizes are uniformly distributed in PVC resin according to a volume complementary filling principle and formelastic interface bonding with substrate resin, the spatial topological advantage of a metal modified skeleton structure can be brought into full play, the influence to the environment is less, and the obtained product is good in sound insulation property and wide in application range, and can be widely applied to preparation process of various kinds of sound insulation materials so as to performthe sound insulation property.

TL;DR: In this paper, a preparation method of soft and high-gloss type PP-BCFs (polypropylene-bulked continuous filaments) is proposed, which comprises the following steps: A, premixing: preparing toughening/softening modifier granules from polypropylene random copolymer plastomer and propylene-based elastomer granules by adding the materials to a high-speed mixer and uniformly mixing the materials; preparing highgloss PP powder from a composite nucleating agent, a composite anti-aging agent and a dispersion
Abstract: The invention relates to a preparation method of soft and high-gloss type PP-BCFs (polypropylene-bulked continuous filaments). The method comprises the following steps: A, premixing: preparing toughening/softening modifier granules from polypropylene random copolymer plastomer and propylene-based elastomer granules by adding the materials to a high-speed mixer and uniformly mixing the materials; preparing high-gloss PP powder from a composite nucleating agent, a composite anti-aging agent and a dispersion lubricant by premixing the materials in the high-speed mixer, adding powdery PP and mixing the materials uniformly at a high speed; B, spinning: processing the two premixes with a metering screw, adding the premixes in a certain ratio to a BCF spinning unit directly, and obtaining the soft and high-gloss type PP-BCFs with a conventional PP-BCF spinning technology. A product prepared with the method has soft handfeel close to that of nylon 6 and has good rebound resilience and high gloss, and a carpet woven from the soft and high-gloss type PP-BCFs has better soft comfort and high-gloss decorative performance.
