TL;DR: In this paper, the authors assessed the nutrient depuration capacity of Polygonum hydropiperoides by cultivating plants hydroponically in water obtained from fish ponds, and the best performance was observed in the N 1 P 1 treatment, achieving a water depuration rate of 74% for N and 81% for P.
Abstract: The present study assessed the nutrient depuration capacity of Polygonum hydropiperoides by cultivating plants hydroponically in water obtained from fish ponds. The experiment simulated varying degrees of nutrient enhancement by using pond water enriched with nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) at the following concentrations (in mg L -1 ): 0-0 (N c P c ), control group; 105-15 (N 1 P 1 ); 155-30 (N 2 P 2 ); 185-45 (N 3 P 3 ), and 205-60 (N 4 P 4 ). The sources of N and P were urea and diammonium phosphate, respectively. Experiments were carried out using a completely randomized design, with six replicates and five levels of added N and P, and lasted for 40 d until plants reached maturity. Plant morphological and chemical variables were recorded, and depuration efficiency was measured based on the total shoot biomass and the nutrient content per treatment. The best performance was observed in the N 1 P 1 treatment, achieving a water depuration rate of 74% for N and 81% for P. These results suggest promise for using emergent plants such as Polygonum grown in hydroponic culture to remove excess nutrients from aquaculture sites.

TL;DR: In this article, a method for preparing a polygonum multiflorum Chinese herbal medicine nutrition fertilizer is presented, which comprises the following steps: analyzing the ratio of the nutrient elements needed by growth of polygonal multiflorums by detecting the amount of various nutrient elements absorbed from soil in the polygonale multiflorume growth process.
Abstract: The invention relates to the technical field of chemical industry and discloses a method for preparing a polygonum multiflorum Chinese herbal medicine nutrition fertilizer. The method comprises the following steps: analyzing the ratio of the nutrient elements needed by growth of polygonum multiflorum by detecting the amount of various nutrient elements absorbed from soil in the polygonum multiflorum growth process, thereby obtaining the polygonum multiflorum fertilizer special for polygonum multiflorum. Phosphoric acid and carbamide react to generate an intermediate product, the intermediate product reacts with an alkaline calcium salt, and one part of monocalcium phosphate generated in the reaction is crystallized and separated out through control of the parameters in the reaction, so that the contents of nitrogen and phosphorus in the reaction solution are regulated to prepare the polygonum multiflorum Chinese herbal medicine nutrition fertilizer. According to the production method, the raw materials are fully utilized, and the prepared polygonum multiflorum Chinese herbal medicine nutrition fertilizer has the advantages that the yield and quality of the polygonum multiflorum can be improved, and the purity of the byproduct monocalcium phosphate is high.

TL;DR: In this paper, a composition for strengthening a hair root and improving a scalp, which contains herb extract is provided to relieve the irritation such as pruritus and pricking, prevent hair loss, and promote hair growth.
Abstract: A composition for strengthening a hair root and improving a scalp, which contains herb extract is provided to relieve the irritation such as pruritus and pricking, prevent hair loss, and promote hair growth. A composition for strengthening a hair root and improving scalp comprises 0.001-10% by weight of Polygonum multiflorum, 0.001-10% by weight of green tea extract, 0.001-10% by weight of Panax ginseng and 0.001-10% by weight of Glycine max extract. The Polygonum multiflorum, green tea extract, Panax ginseng and Glycine max are stabilized using a nanoliposome. The Polygonum multiflorum, green tea extract, Panax ginseng and Glycine max is contained in 0.1-20.0% by weight based on total weight of nanoliposome. The Polygonum multiflorum extract is obtained by extracting a root of Polygonum multiflorum in 50% ethanol, removing the color and flavor of the extract and filtering using a filter paper. The green tea extract is obtained by dipping a leaf, stem, or flower of the green tea in 30% ethanol at 25°C for four days and filtering. The composition is used in a form of hair tonic, hair lotion, scalp treatment, hair treatment, hair rinse, hair shampoo, or hair lotion.
