TL;DR: The traditional Chinese medicine is prepared from chrysanthemum and other raw materials, which is simple in component and has an obvious and stable blood-fat reducing effect as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: The invention discloses a traditional Chinese medicine for reducing the blood fat and a method for preparing the same. The traditional Chinese medicine is prepared from the following raw materials: fried chrysanthemum, persimmon leaves, stiff silkworm, semen cassia, uncaria, mint, typha latifolia, gynostemma pentaphylla, trifoliate orange leaves, crinite pogonatherum herb, rainbow conk, herba hyperici japonica, Chinese lobelia, the fruit of Chinese wolfberry, prepared polygonum multiflorum, polygonum cuspidatum, water chestnut leaves, pseudostellaria heterophylla, Chinese yam and broadleaf holly leaves. The traditional Chinese medicine is prepared from chrysanthemum and other raw materials, is simple in component and has an obvious and stable blood-fat reducing effect. The chrysanthemum has the efficacy of dissipating the wind heat, clearing the liver, improving the eyesight, expelling the wind, relieving the convulsion and the like, the fruit of Chinese wolfberry has the efficacies of delaying senility, resisting the fatty liver, regulating the blood fat and the blood sugar, promoting the hematopoiesis and the like, the polygonum cuspidatum has the efficacy of reducing the cholesterol, and the cassia and the broadleaf holly leaves are rich in nutrients and have high content of cellulose. The traditional Chinese medicine is suitable for people of all ages to take.

TL;DR: In this article, a macroporous resin separation technology was used to effectively remove anthraquinone components in polygonum multiflorum thunb to prepare the detoxicated Polygonum multiluminum Thunb extract, which is suitable for industrial production.
Abstract: A detoxicated Polygonum multiflorum Thunb extract and a preparation method thereof belong to the technical field of traditional Chinese medicines Polygonum multiflorum Thunb coarse powder and a solvent are subjected to reflux extraction twice at the weight ratio of 1:(4-20) for 1-4 hours each time, and the solvent is reclaimed from filtrates so as to obtain a fluid extract, wherein the solvent is methyl alcohol or ethyl alcohol, and the concentration of the solvent is 30%-80%; and the Polygonum multiflorum Thunb fluid extract is diluted with water at the weight ratio of 1:(4-10), the dilution is enriched by a macroporous resin column, a solution passing through the column, a water eluate and an ethyl alcohol eluate are collected and combined, the solvent is reclaimed by pressure reduction to obtain a concentrated solution, and the concentrated solution is dried so as to obtain the detoxicated Polygonum multiflorum Thunb extract The method provided by the invention adopts the macroporous resin separation technology to effectively remove anthraquinone components in Polygonum multiflorum Thunb to prepare the detoxicated Polygonum multiflorum Thunb extract, is simple and is suitable for industrial production

TL;DR: Ethyl acetate-soluble fractions obtained from both the leaves and rhizomes showed effective growth inhibition against Bacillus brevis, Bacillus cereus, Bac bacteria, Curtobacterium flaccumfaciens, Staphylococcus aureus, Aeromonas hydrophila and Pseudomonas fluorescens.
Abstract: The antimicrobial activities of extracts from the leaves and rhizomes of Sachaline giant knotweed, Polygonum sachalinense, were examined. Of all the fractions separated using various solvents from the methanol extracts, the ethyl acetate fractions obtained from both the leaves and rhizomes had the highest antibacterial activity. Chloroform-separated fractions obtained from the rhizomes also displayed high antibacterial activity against some bacterial strains. Ethyl acetate-soluble fractions obtained from both the leaves and rhizomes showed effective growth inhibition against Bacillus brevis, Bacillus cereus, Bacillus coagulans, Curtobacterium flaccumfaciens, Staphylococcus aureus, Aeromonas hydrophila and Pseudomonas fluorescens.
