TL;DR: In this paper, a 1D organic-inorganic hybrid polyoxometalate chain has been used as a non-coordinating anionic template for the construction of a novel 3D copper halide 4,4′-bipy framework.
Abstract: A 1D organic–inorganic hybrid polyoxometalate chain has been used as a non-coordinating anionic template for the construction of a novel 3D copper halide 4,4′-bipy framework, namely [Cu3ICl(4,4′-bipy)4][CuII(1,10-phen)2Mo8O26]. X-ray diffraction experiments revealed that the title compound consists of chloride-bridged trinuclear CuI units linked by neutral organic 4,4′-bipy groups into a 3D framework with hexagon-like channels in which 1D organic–inorganic hybrid polyoxometalate chains reside. This is the first example of a 1D organic–inorganic hybrid polyoxometalate chain functioning as a novel anionic template for the construction of a 3D framework. (© Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. TL;DR: Ag and Ru nanoparticles stabilized by H5PV2Mo10O40, prepared by a sequence of redox reactions and supported on alpha-alumina, were effective catalysts for the direct aerobic epoxidation of alkenes in the liquid phase.

TL;DR: In this paper, the composites obtained have been characterized and may have many potential applications and are used in many potential use cases, e.g., for the reduction of metal ions, where the reduced polyoxometalate is used as reducing agent.
Abstract: Phosphomolybdate has been employed simultaneously as the oxidizing agent for the monomer polymerization and the reduced polyoxometalate is used as reducing agent for the reduction of metal ions. The composites thus obtained have been characterized and may have many potential applications.

TL;DR: The mixed-valent cerium(III/IV) oxide clusters, derived from condensation reactions of cerium carboxylate coordination polymers, exhibit molecular growth tendencies similar to those of 'classical' group V and VI polyoxometalates, but with increasing nuclearity approach the structure of the parental oxide, CeO(2).
