TL;DR: In this article, the efficiency of EC1021A has been shown to have an efficiency of 79.8%, other results are as follows: Kurizet S.636, 77%, savor CK368, 43%, potassium dichromate, 35% and sodium nitrate, 1.88%.
Abstract: This study is on experiment being carried out to determine the efficiency of in inhibitors on catholically protected medium carbon steel in sea water in Bonny and Ogbokoro in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria. The experiment was conducted using the total immersion technique in a non-flowing media containing sea water inhibited with potassium dichromate, sodium nitrate, ECIO21A, sarvor CK 368, and Kurizets 636. In the course of this research work, Cathodically protected and unprotected medium carbon steel were totally immersed in seawater containing the aforementioned inhibitors differently. Their weight loss, corrosion rate, pH value and corrosion potentials were determined at intervals of 72 hours, over 2016 hours the test lasted. The results obtained shows that inhibitor EC1021A has efficiency of 79.8%, other results are as follows: Kurizet S.636, 77%, savor CK368, 43%, potassium dichromate, 35% and sodium nitrate, 1.88%. It was concluded that EC1021A is the most efficient inhibitor, under a non-flow system.

TL;DR: In this paper, a rank order for the irritancy of metal compounds can be inferred from the patch test concentrations recommended as non-irritating for the purpose of cutaneous allergy testing: potassium dichromate 0.5%, copper sulfate, cobalt chloride and palladium chloride ex equo: 1% in aqueous solution, and nickel sulfate: 5% in petrolatum.
Abstract: Data on the dermal irritation by copper and its compounds is scant, and its irritancy has not been determined, e.g., in terms of an irritant dose ID50. Irritancy of copper can only be comparatively characterized in relation to other metal salts. A rank order for the irritancy of metal compounds can be inferred from the patch test concentrations recommended as non-irritating for the purpose of cutaneous allergy testing: potassium dichromate 0.5% in petrolatum; copper sulfate, cobalt chloride and palladium chloride ex equo: 1% in aqueous solution, and nickel sulfate: 5% in petrolatum.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a chemical oxygen demand determination method in the technical field of chemical dioxide demand determination, which includes adding a water sample and concentrated sulfuric acid into a digestion tube according to a volume ratio of 1:4-9, piping an inert gas to remove chloride ion in the water sample in a form of hydrogen chloride, adding a potassium dichromate solution to perform digestion, cooling the solution in the digestion tube to room temperature when digestion is completed, and finally measuring the content of the redundant potassium dichrome and calculating the COD value.
Abstract: The invention relates to a chemical oxygen demand determination method in the technical field of chemical oxygen demand determination. The method includes adding a water sample and concentrated sulfuric acid into a digestion tube according to a volume ratio of 1:4-9, piping an inert gas to remove chloride ion in the water sample in a form of hydrogen chloride, adding a potassium dichromate solution to perform digestion, cooling the solution in the digestion tube to room temperature when digestion is completed, and finally measuring the content of the redundant potassium dichromate and calculating the COD value. The method can eliminate chloride ion interference and achieve rapid digestion of the potassium dichromate without the need of using mercury salts or silver slats.
