TL;DR: In this article, a urine iodine determination kit is presented, based on the adsorbent, the dilution liquid, the coloring agent and the standard substance of the existing kit, a hydrogen peroxide solution, peroxyacetic acid solution, sodium hypochlorite solution or potassium permanganate solution with a mass percentage concentration of 5-12% is selected as an oxidizing agent and a special terminating liquid is arranged.
Abstract: The present invention discloses a urine iodine determination kit. According to the kit, based on the adsorbent, the dilution liquid, the coloring agent and the standard substance of the existing kit, a hydrogen peroxide solution, peroxyacetic acid solution, sodium hypochlorite solution or potassium permanganate solution with a mass percentage concentration of 5-12% is selected as an oxidizing agent and a special terminating liquid is arranged, and the terminating liquid comprises a sulfuric acid solution, hydrochloric acid solution, citric acid solution, sodium fluoride solution, sodium azide solution or potassium iodate solution with a mass percentage concentration of 1-20% or a combination comprising any solutions selected from the sulfuric acid solution, the hydrochloric acid solution, the citric acid solution, the sodium fluoride solution, the sodium azide solution and the potassium iodate solution according to any mass percentage ratio. According to the present invention, the single adsorbent and the single oxidizing agent are used so as to significantly reduce the cost, and the terminating liquid is used to rapidly terminate the reaction, such that it is ensured that the color is not significantly changed within a certain time, and the stable detection result coloring and the accurate detection result interpretation are achieved.

TL;DR: Two simple and accurate methods are described for captopril determination based on oxidation of the S-atom of the drug with a large excess of iodate in sulphuric acid medium and measurement of the iodine released, at 460 nm.
Abstract: Two simple and accurate methods are described for captopril determination. The titrimetric method involves the oxidation of the drug with a known excess of iodate and titration of the unreacted oxidant iodometrically. Thespectrophotometric method is based on the oxidation of the S-atom of the drug with a large excess of iodate in sulphuric acid medium and measurement of the iodine released, at 460 nm. Reaction conditions are optimised. Titrimetry is applicable over 1-12 mg range whereas spectrophotometry can be used to determine captopril in the concentration range 50-400 μg ml - 1 with an apparent molar absorptivity of 0.38 x 10 3 1 mol - 1 cm - 1 and a Sandell sensitivity of 0.578 μg cm - 2 . The methods were highly reproducible with a relative standard deviation of less than 2%. Proprietary drugs containing captopril were analysed by the proposed methods successfully with no interference from tablet excipients.

TL;DR: In this article, a slow-release spectrum antibacterial agent is characterized by comprising 40%-50% of butylchitosan, 10%-15% of medicinal iodine and 1%-5% of a sodium carbonate-sodium bicarbonate buffer solution.
Abstract: The invention discloses a slow-release spectrum antibacterial agent. According to the technical scheme, the slow-release spectrum antibacterial agent is characterized by comprising 40%-50% of butylchitosan, 10%-15% of medicinal iodine, 10%-40% of distilled water, 1%-5% of potassium iodate and 1%-5% of a sodium carbonate-sodium bicarbonate buffer solution. Through brand-new chelation of carrier butylchitosan and iodine, the antibacterial effect of the antibacterial agent is improved, the iodine content is increased, and the sterilization effect is good. Besides, butylchitosan has a strong and effective antibacterial effect, is clean and easy to obtain and also has a slow release effect, raw materials are widely sourced, and the cost is low.
