TL;DR: In this article, a formulation of ammonium bromate, calcium peroxide, ammonium sulphate, monocalcium phosphate, anhydrous calcium sulphate and flour is presented.
Abstract: A dough conditioner for use in making bread or similar products comprises an inorganic bromate and/or an inorganic iodate and an ammonium salt, and is free from chlorides or chlorites. The conditioner may include calcium sulphate, flour, calcium peroxide, and monocalcium phosphate. The conditioner may be formed into tablets. Examples 1-4 are of formulations of ammonium sulphate and calcium sulphate with potassium bromate and with potassium iodate, and of flour, ammonium sulphate and calcium sulphate with potassium bromate and with potassium iodate. Example 5 is a formulation of potassium bromate, calcium peroxide, ammonium sulphate, monocalcium phosphate, anhydrous calcium sulphate and flour. Example 6 is a formulation of potassium bromate, calcium peroxide, ammonium sulphate, monocalcium phosphate, anhydrous calcium sulphate, flour and an a -amylase and protease preparation from Aspergillus oryzae. An example of a mixture for compressing to 2 oz. tablets, each sufficient for 280 lb. of flour, is:-Ammonium sulphate 79.2 per cent, starch 10.2 per cent, gypsum 9.1 per cent, potassium bromate 0.8 per cent, stearic acid 0.7 per cent.

TL;DR: In this paper, an ICHS solution formula and a preparation method for the preparation of the solution is described, and the preparation method comprises the following steps that: (1) the materials are weighed; (2) the glacial acetic acid, polysorbate-20, glycerol and purified water are added into the iodine-chitosan and uniformly mixed to totally dissolve.
Abstract: The invention discloses an iodine-chitosan solution formula and a preparation method thereof. The raw materials of the iodine-chitosan solution include iodine-chitosan, glacial acetic acid, polysorbate-20, glycerol, potassium iodate and purified water. The preparation method comprises the following steps that: (1) the materials are weighed; (2) the glacial acetic acid, polysorbate-20, glycerol and purified water are added into the iodine-chitosan and uniformly mixed to totally dissolve; (3) the potassium iodate is dissolved by the purified water and then added into the materials and uniformly mixed; (4) the purified water is added inside the materials to reach 100 percent and the materials are uniformly mixed; and (5) the mixture is filtered, filled, packaged to obtain the iodine-chitosan solution. In the iodine-chitosan solution, the iodine-chitosan plays the role of disinfection and sterilization, the glacial acetic acid plays the role of pH value adjustment and synergetic solubilization, the polysorbate-20 plays the role of solubilization, the glycerol plays the role of blending and moisture retention, the potassium iodate plays the role of a stabilizer, and the iodine-chitosan plays the role of disinfection; and the iodine-chitosan solution can be used for skin disinfection of operation sites or injection sites and auxiliary treatment of small cuts, and also can be used for washing treatment of vagina inflammation and treatment and disinfection of oral diseases.

TL;DR: In this paper, an iodatometric method was developed for the determination of primary and secondary amines that is based on their quantitative reaction with phenyl isothiocyanate in dimethylformamide to form substituted thioureas.
Abstract: An iodatometric method has been developed for the determination of primary and secondary amines that is based on their quantitative reaction with phenyl isothiocyanate in dimethylformamide to form substituted thioureas. These are titrated with potassium iodate in an acidic medium at room temperature. The end-point is detected visually by the yellow colour imparted to the solution by the first drop of the iodate solution in excess, and potentiometrically by using a bright platinum-wire indicator electrode and a saturated calomel reference electrode. Methods have also been developed for the determination of primary (or secondary) amines and tertiary amines in the presence of each other. An excess of phenyl isothiocyanate, added to the mixture in solution in dimethylformamide, converts the primary (or secondary) amines into the corresponding di-(or tri-) substituted thioureas, whereas the tertiary amines are left unreacted. The conductimetric titration of tertiary amines with trichloroacetic acid, followed by the iodatometric titration of thioureas formed, enables the mixture to be analysed for both components. The methods described are simple, accurate and reliable.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors used optical, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) to study the surface morphology, the composition of adsorbed film formed on the surface of aluminum samples in 2M hydrochloric acid solution containing 100 ppm optimum KIO3 dose.
Abstract: The results of investigations by using optical, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive X- ray spectroscopy (EDS) to study the surface morphology, the composition of adsorbed film formed on the surface of aluminum samples in 2M hydrochloric acid solution containing 100 ppm optimum KIO3 dose. The data reveal that the additive improves the surface morphology of aluminum, due to the marked layer enrichment of Al- surface by inhibitor components. Detailed studies were carried out to investigate the effect of oxygen in the inhibition process. The nature and strength of the passive film and the mechanism of its formation are explained based on detailed studies conducted under experimental conditions.
