TL;DR: A novel technique is presented to create a system in which, for the cost of writing just one specification, an interpreter for the programming language of interest obtains automatically-generated, mutually-consistent implementations of all three symbolic-analysis primitives.
Abstract: The paper presents a novel technique to create implementations of the basic primitives used in symbolic program analysis: forward symbolic evaluation , weakest liberal precondition , and symbolic composition . We used the technique to create a system in which, for the cost of writing just one specification--an interpreter for the programming language of interest--one obtains automatically-generated, mutually-consistent implementations of all three symbolic-analysis primitives. This can be carried out even for languages with pointers and address arithmetic. Our implementation has been used to generate symbolic-analysis primitives for x86 and PowerPC.

TL;DR: The aim of the project was to develop a simulation for detecting and classifying currency coins by machine vision using NI 1742 Smart Camera using labview RT (Real- Time) software in conjunction with Vision Assistant 2010.
Abstract: The aim of the project was to develop a simulation for detecting and classifying currency coins by machine vision using NI 1742 Smart Camera. Powered by a 533 mhz powerpc processor, it greatly enhances processing speed as it is a dedicated processor simplifying machine vision by analyzing images directly. For programming the same, labview RT (Real- Time) software was used in conjunction with Vision Assistant 2010.

TL;DR: Honeywell is developing a product line of standard electronics boards for on-orbit payload processing applications based on commercial standards for instruction sets, form factors, back plane busses, I/O and software tools.
Abstract: Honeywell is developing a product line of standard electronics boards for on-orbit payload processing applications. This product line is based on commercial standards for instruction sets, form factors, back plane busses, I/O and software tools. This architecture is based on a data flow model. The radiation hardened, Single Board Computer (SBC) is based on PowerPC 603e/sup TM/ technology licensed from Motorola. The SBC is one building block for realizing a space computing solution. Other building blocks offered by Honeywell are a radiation hardened vector processor (RHVP), mass memory, sensor interface electronics, and I/O suite. The RHPPC SBC provides enough throughput to enable on-board payload processing or can be used for spacecraft control functions. The current generation of space computers is based on R3000 class architectures and offer 20 MIPS performance. The RHPPC SBC offers 222 MIPS performance.

TL;DR: The chapter describes the IBM PowerNP NP4GS31 network processor, which essentially provides wire-speed packet processing and forwarding capability through a set of programmable embedded processors and co-processors with a multiplicity of high-bandwidth embedded and external memories.
Abstract: Network processors support the complex packet processing functions at media speed. The chapter describes the IBM PowerNP NP4GS31 network processor. PowerNP essentially provides wire-speed packet processing and forwarding capability through a set of programmable embedded processors and co-processors with a multiplicity of high-bandwidth embedded and external memories. Co-processors operate in parallel with processors and perform functions that are computationally intensive to perform. PowerNP also provides the basis for a wide range of solutions from a low-end stand-alone system to a large multirack system through an external switching fabric. It is noted that PowerNP can be used in the traditional switch or router equipment as well as in the emerging applications for the server and storage equipment. It supports scalable traffic engineering functions or security features. PowerNPs provide data plane packet processing functions. A separate, external general-purpose processor (GPP) such as an IBM PowerPC provides control plane and system management functions and acts as the CP for the whole system.
