Abstract: A PRESSBOARD COMPRISED OF A MIXTURE OF ACRYLIC POLYMERS AND WOOD PARTICLES IS PREPARED BY SUBJECTING THE MIXTURE TO HEAT AND PRESSURE CONDITIONS FOR A TIME SUFFICIENT TO CONVERT THE POLYMER INTO A VISCOUS MASS FOR BONDING THE WOOD PARTICLES.
