TL;DR: In this article, a technique for manufacturing pressboard by use of distiller's grains is described, where the distillers' grains are pulverized, dewatered and dried, they are mixed with paraffin and urea-formaldehyde resin, and then the above-mentioned mixed material is uniformly stirred, laid and fed into the board-pressing machine for press forming.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a technique for manufacturing pressboard by use of distiller's grains. It is that after the distiller's grains are pulverized, dewatered and dried, they are mixed with paraffin and urea-formaldehyde resin, and then the above-mentioned mixed material is uniformly stirred, laid and fed into the board-pressing machine for press forming. Said invention fully uses the distiller's grains to manufacture pressboard, so that it can change waste material into treasure, reduce environmental pollution and turn bane into boon. Besides, its technological formula is simple and its process is easy.

Abstract: This article presents the results of the studies on positive streamers behavior in an insulation system of non-uniform electric field distribution where point-to-sphere electrode system was divided on two parts by placing the pressboard barrier in the middle of oil gap. The studies were performed for two synthetic esters as per IEC 61099, natural ester as per 62770, blended low viscosity ester and mineral oil as per IEC 60296. The experimental techniques used in the measurements were both electrical and optical ones. The results showed that independently of the liquids tested lightning strength of the insulation system increased circa 3 times in relation to the system without pressboard barrier. In turn in the waveforms of light emitted by the streamers propagating in esters no differences were observed between them. However in comparison to the mineral oil duration of streamer propagation is longer in esters and intensity of emitted light is higher. In general the results indicated quite similar properties of the streamers developing in all the liquids tested in the condition of the experiment.

Abstract: The behaviour of pressboard plates of 1 mm and 2 mm thicknesses immersed in mineral oil and stressed in the highly inhomogeneous electric field of a rod-plane gap under alternating voltages of the industrial frequency of 50 Hz is described. First, the partial discharges inception and breakdown voltages of the plates, measured under continuously increasing applied voltages, are given. Then the characteristic phases of the discharge development under applied voltages of each time-constant effective value are described in detail and conclusions are drawn as to the position in the test object, and the kind of partial discharges which appear with time. Also, the measured values of the discharge quantities are given. Finally, the measured relationships between life duration of the insulating plates and the relevant applied voltages of constant value are presented and some conclusions are drawn on the overall behaviour of the plates.
