Abstract: The invention discloses a slotting cutter of an inverse-tapered spline straight gear and a designing method of the slotting cutter. Basic parameters of the slotting cutter comprise a tooth number Zo, a front angle gamma, a tooth crest rear angle alpha e, a reference circle diameter dfo and a reference circle pressure angle alpha fo, wherein the reference circle diameter dfo is equal to Zom, and m represents the modulus of the inverse-tapered spline straight gear; and the reference circle pressure angle alpha fo meets the formula. According to the slotting cutter of the inverse-tapered spline straight gear, an adopted inclined surface, namely a V-V plane, of a larger end of the inverse-tapered spline straight gear is designed according to the principle of meshing the bevel gear and the slotting cutter, the slotting cutter has higher tooth crest intensity, the problem of low separation and processing efficiency of double gears in the prior art is thoroughly solved, and the geometric accuracy of an inserted tooth profile of the inverse-tapered spline straight gear is guaranteed. The invention further provides the designing method of the inverse-tapered spline straight gear. With the adoption of the designing method, the high-accuracy and high-strength slotting cutter of the inverse-tapered spline straight gear can be obtained, and the accuracy of the inserted tooth profile of the inverse-tapered spline straight gear is improved.

Abstract: A double-screw compressor for supplying gas, such as air, to a gas consumer, is provided. The double-screw compressor includes two interacting rotors for compressing the gas and a toothed gearing. The toothed gearing includes a gearing housing with two opposite end walls made of a first material. Two gearwheels made of a second material which has a thermal expansion coefficient different from the thermal expansion coefficient of the first material are mounted in the end walls. In order to reduce the effect of the temperature on the backlash, both gearwheels are designed with one and the same pressure angle which is smaller than 15°.

TL;DR: In this article, an S-shaped inlet was investigated and the results showed that when the yaw angle is constant and the attack angle changes from negative to positive, the total pressure recovery increases at first and then keeps almost constant, while the distortion coefficient drops at first, and then rises a little.
Abstract: Experimental investigation of an S-shaped inlet was made in this paper.The results show that: 1) When the yaw angle is constant and the attack angle changes from negative to positive,the total pressure recovery increases at first and then keeps almost constant,while the distortion coefficient drops at first and then rises a little.2) When the attack angle is constant and the yaw angle increases,the total pressure recovery and distortion coefficient increase at first and then decline.3) Under the combination of high incidence and yaw,the total pressure recovery is low and the distortion is high,but the performance will be better if the yaw angle increases farther.4) At the matching point of the inlet and engine,the power spectrum of the flow at the exit is like white noise and not sensitive to the variation of attitude angle and free stream Mach number.5) When the engine is running under small mass flow,the inlet model surge occurs,the frequency of surge is 150Hz.

Abstract: A binary ink developer assembly includes a plurality of rollers, gears, and end caps. The rollers are in contact with each other to form a nip. Each roller includes a plurality of bearings. The gears include gear teeth. A respective gear has an involute tooth profile and applies a gear force at a pressure angle corresponding to the involute tooth profile to rotate at least one roller. The end caps are coupled to the bearings. At least one slot arranged to form a slot angle substantially equal to the pressure angle and to receive a respective bearing to support a respective roller.
