Abstract: More design parameters should be considered when design the high contact ratio gear.Selection of these parameters is limited by many restrained conditions,and the relationship among them is complicated.The ways to acquire the high contact ratio are found out,through reducing the pressure angle,increasing the tooth depth as well as increasing the number of teeth and selecting proper modification coefficients high contact ratio of a gear pair can be obtained.Here the optimization method is applied to build multi-objective optimization models for minimum volume and maximal overlap ratio and design high contact ratio planet gear-driven system,which carrying capacity is extremely good with stable driving for it tight structure.

Abstract: As a gear transmission system in high-end industry, high-order elliptic bevel gear is universally applicable to transmission between concurrent axes at a non-uniform velocity, with a compact structure, small size, flexible and many other advantages. Therefore, for in-depth research of the elliptic bevel gear, the design and manufacture theory of elliptic bevel gear gradually becomes mature, while the changes of high-end usable range of bevel gear and contact point of high-end bevel gear and mobile changes of cycles bring a certain impact on normal use of instrument. Through selection of rectangular coordinate system for segregation in case of changes and detection of static equilibrium and driving force in the transmission process of high-order elliptic bevel gear, this paper establishes a change model of contact point of elliptic bevel gear installation and detection system, and verifies the influence rules of tangential force on the spot area of high-order elliptic bevel gear transmission, which have a certain guiding significance on the installation system of high-order elliptic bevel gear.

Abstract: The design of the conjugate cams was analyzed in this paper, and the calculation process of conjugate cams profile data to meet the pressure angle and the curvature radius was introduced in detail. With VB as the software platform, the curves data of the conjugate cams were designed and calculated, the curves were also displayed on the platform. Base on the designing platform, the motion parameter of the followers, such as displacement, velocity and acceleration, could be achieved and saved in the certain format. The parameterization design and motion analysis were also could be performed to help the designer to find the mistakes, such as the rotation difficulty caused by excessive pressure angle, the motion distortion and overcut during machining caused by small radius of curvature. So the mistakes could be corrected and the product developing cycle could be shortened. The system could accomplish the information transmission and information sharing among the subsystems and enhanced the integration and automation of the conjugate cam design and manufacture. It also could be taken as platform for designing, manufacturing and performance researching of the conjugate cams. Finally, the example of the moving platform die-cutting mechanism in an automatic die-cutting machine verified the usability and effectiveness of the software platform.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy of tooth depth of gear teeth and quality of the gear by dispensing with finishing a top land surface by simultaneously machining a top land surface and a gear flank SOLUTION: A gear cutter blade 10 having a cutter blade shank 20 provided with a cutting member 22 at one end part 21 thereof is used for a face hob type cutter so as to generate teeth of a spiral bevel and hypoid gear member 12 by the continuous index face hobbing method The cutting member 22 has a cutting edge 24 for the gear flank, which has a definite pressure angle B with respect to the axial direction, and a cutting edge for the top land of the gear When the cutting edge of the cutting member 22 cuts the gear flank, the cutting edge of the cutting member 22 simultaneously forms the top land surface 18 of the teeth 14 of the gear member 12

Abstract: The paper conducted a modal analysis of an internal helical gear based on AWE, and obtained its first 6 order natural frequency. Then the paper analyzed the influence of its parameters on the vibration characteristics of the internal helical gear, found that if the helix angle, the normal module, the number of teeth of the internal helical gear change, its vibration characteristics will change, but the change of the pressure angle doesn’t influence its vibration characteristics.
