TL;DR: In this article, a high-precision small modulus gear vision measurement method is described, which is characterized by after a CCD camera is calibrated, carrying out small-modulus gear coordinate conversion, outputting an actual physical coordinate of a small-mule gear and calculating a correlation parameter coordinate scale factor, a rotation matrix and a translation matrix; reflecting a space position relation between a gear to be measured and a measurement system in the measurement system.
Abstract: A high-precision small modulus gear vision measurement method is disclosed. The method is characterized by after a CCD camera is calibrated, carrying out small modulus gear coordinate conversion, outputting an actual physical coordinate of a small modulus gear and calculating a correlation parameter coordinate scale factor, a rotation matrix and a translation matrix; reflecting a space position relation between a gear to be measured and a measurement system in the measurement system; carrying out image processing, wherein a processed object is a small modulus gear edge contour image acquired from a CCD camera 3; and carrying out denoising; then using and carrying out 1/8 sub-pixel edge extraction, extracting an edge point coordinate, carrying out center fitting and acquiring a center coordinate of the image; according to an edge point, acquiring a basic gear parameter, wherein the basic parameter is a tooth number, a mode number, a reference circle diameter and a pressure angle; fitting a standard gear contour curve; and comparing an actually-acquired edge contour curve with a theoretical contour curve so as to acquire a pitch deviation and a tooth profile deviation. The basic gear parameter and quality can be comprehensively analyzed and evaluated.

TL;DR: In this paper, a double-circular-arc tooth profile for harmonic gear based on curve mapping and bidirectional conjugation is proposed, which can not only construct the mathematical relationship between basic parameters (modulus, number of teeth, deformation etc.) and tooth profile shape, but also realize the multi-tooth engagement of harmonic drive.

TL;DR: In this paper, a high speed bevel gear transmission system for transmitting power from an input shaft to a pair of parallel outputs shafts the axes of which intersect each other is described.
Abstract: A high-speed bevel gear transmission system for transmitting power from an input shaft to a pair of parallel outputs shafts the axes of which intersect each other. The input shaft has a pair of driving bevel gears which are fixedly mounted thereon such that the driving bevel gears face in opposite directions and which have the same number and size of teeth spirally arranged in the opposite directions each other. The output shafts are supported on angular contact ball bearings and have two driven bevel gears fixedly mounted thereon which are engaged with the driving bevel gears. The speed transmission ratio of the output shafts to the input shaft is 1.45:1 to 0.476:0.1, the relation between a pressure angle α and helix angle β of the driving bevel gears and driven bevel gears, and a pitch cone angle δ of the driven bevel gears are defined by the formula, R=[(tanα·sin δ)/cos β]-tanβ· cos δ when 0.324≦R≦0.1.

TL;DR: In this paper, a rotor profile for screw compressors is presented in a latitudinal cross-section taken along a line extending in a direction perpendicular to rotor axes, and is applied to male and female rotors used in a screw compressor having a housing defining an actuating space therein.
Abstract: A rotor profile for screw compressors is disclosed. The rotor profile is shown in a latitudinal cross-section taken along a line extending in a direction perpendicular to rotor axes, and is applied to male and female rotors used in a screw compressor having a housing defining an actuating space therein, the male rotor being rotatably set in the actuating space and having spiral teeth and roots defined between the teeth, and the female rotor being set in the actuating space to rotatably engage with the male rotor and having spiral teeth and roots defined between the teeth. The rotor profile comprises a first curve F-G determined as a circular arc and inscribed in an addendum circle of the female rotor at a point “G” around a trailing end of each tooth of the female rotor, and a second curve determined by a hyperbola function r=(e·K)/(1−e·cos θ), wherein 1.1≦e≦1.15, and a derived function of first order of the hyperbola function of the second curve at a point “F” is equal to a derived function of first order of a function of the curve F-G. Due to the curve E-F, the blow-hole size is preferably minimized while the pressure angle of a rotor machining tool is maintained at a level of at least 8°. In addition, due to an appropriately limited wrap angle of the male rotor, the pressure angle of the rotor machining tool is increased and desired tooth strength is maintained.

TL;DR: In this article, the shape function of the rotor with multiple profiles was derived, and performances (flow rate, irregularity, specific sliding and pressure angle), which were related to torque and noise, were calculated by a prediction algorithm of theoretical equations.
Abstract: The internal gear pump has been widely used in vehicles because of durability and downsizing, but torque and noise of rotor in the pump have been required to be improved for fuel efficiency. In this study, shape function of the rotor with multiple profiles (ellipse 1-involute-ellipse 2) was derived, and performances (flow rate, irregularity, specific sliding and pressure angle), which were related to torque and noise, were calculated by a prediction algorithm of theoretical equations. The optimal ranges of each design parameter were determined on the basis of analysis results of about 500,000 cases of rotor profiles by using the automated design and the multiple calculation programs developed. Based on the analysis results, the rotor profiles were suggested for improving fuel efficiency, and the performance tests for them were carried out for verifying the analysis.
