TL;DR: Two algorithms of extrapolation and spectral estimation for discrete bandlimited signals are proposed that are based on Fourier transform that can provide more accurate spectral estimates and better extrapolation performance than other algorithms developed for discreteBandlimited signals with a smooth spectrum.
Abstract: Two algorithms of extrapolation and spectral estimation for discrete bandlimited signals are proposed that are based on Fourier transform. The two algorithms, the matrix algorithm and the iterative FFT algorithm, can provide more accurate spectral estimates and better extrapolation performance than other algorithms developed for discrete bandlimited signals with a smooth spectrum. Numerical examples show that the iterative FFT algorithm, which uses accelerated convergence, is a robust extrapolation algorithm for the noisy data. >

01 Jan 2004TL;DR: A method is proposed in this paper in which the row-transform results of FFT are accessed in tiling structures and the FFT computation is paralleled with the I/O accessing, which can greatly accelerate the F FT speed for massive image processing.
Abstract: Although FFT has a fast speed, it can not meet the need in massive image processing We propose a method in this paper in which the row-transform results of FFT are accessed in tiling structures and the FFT computation is paralleled with the I/O accessing Our experiment results show that this method can greatly accelerate the FFT speed for massive image processing

13 May 2012TL;DR: In this paper, a modified DFT series equation is used to enlarge a portion of spectrum of the acquired signal, and then individuate the fine peak position of the signal.
Abstract: This paper discusses a specific technique for frequency tone detection. Based on a modified DFT series equation, the algorithm provides to enlarge a portion of spectrum of the acquired signal. It starts from an arbitrary point and length, and then individuates the fine peak position. After the theory description, the implemented algorithm is described. Finally, the results confirm the performances of the proposed method.
