Abstract: Based on the study of some post-disaster reconstruction project examples and related policy documents,this article analyses the existing problems of the post-disaster reconstruction project engineering cost combining with the actual engineering projects of the post-Wenchuan earthquake reconstruction. Then it discusses the factors that affect the post-disaster reconstruction project engineering cost and puts forward some suggestions for it in the end. The study of this paper expects to provide some theoretical and practical references for the subsequent engineering practices, and hopes not only promoting the limited government post-disaster reconstruction special funds to realize their maximum utility, but also enhancing the whole level of our countries'reconstruction management and engineering cost control.

Abstract: Project Management, as it has been applied traditionally, has no longer achieved full success and has been offered opportunities to create new procedures and technical enhancements. Recently, a study presented a procedure intended to innovate in managing biomedical engineering projects. The present paper shows the problem, the needs, the specialties of Biomedical Engineering and the procedures to improve management, discussing some specific aspects of this subject. Many of no success projects are caused by mismanagement, as well as failures in the engineering design or in the implementation plan. The method pursuit the goal to improve success by granting safety and effectiveness to the final product of the project implementation, acting especially at the transitory activities level by using its predictive properties.

Abstract: In order to build a disaster emergency management capability assessment index system for large-scale construction project in construction phase, the emergency management of large-scale construction project is used as the research object of comprehensive modeling evaluation based on metadata, and take the overall emergency management as the guidance, to construct the evaluation index system, evaluation model, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method with gray level extension analysis method for comprehensive evaluation, and it can constantly improve the ability of emergency management support system. The specific study of executivelevel emergency management evaluation models and methods in the evaluation process should not only pay attention to the effect of the evaluation implementation, the research method is scientific and feasible, which can provide reference for strengthening the emergency management ability of large construction projects.

Abstract: A senior undergraduate project in digital communications combining theory with computer aided design (CAD) and providing hands on experience in the field is considered. The project is suitable for engineering undergraduate students with a background of a first course in digital communications and digital system design. The project consists of the study, computer simulation, design and hardware implementation of a soft decision information set decoder for an (8,4) extended Hamming code. The measured performance correlated well with the performance predicted by theory and computer simulation. >
