Abstract: A software development tool (10) permits capture, modification and recording of transactional messages that are transmitted between a client (26) and a server (28) in a computer network. A proxy is employed to capture messages such as requests and responses that are in transit between the client (26) and the server (28). The captured requests and responses can be displayed and modified before being retransmitted via the proxy. Further, transaction records can be selectively provided to at least one software application (46) for analysis.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable storage media for implementing a policy enforcement proxy are disclosed. A data packet associated with a source endpoint group and a destination endpoint group is received at a network device. The network device performs a policy lookup based on the source endpoint group and the destination endpoint group. The network device determines that the policy is not available and in response, modifies the data packet and forwards it to a policy enforcement proxy.

Abstract: Proxy discovery for mobile networks having cooperative multiradio devices is provided through short range discovery and assistance from the network. In some aspects, a dedicated message is sent in response to a request from the client. The dedicated message includes a proxy list. The client uses the proxy list to discover those proxies on the list. Other aspects provide for the proxy list to be included in broadcast messages from the network. Thus, clients receive the broadcast messages and extract the proxy list for discovery purposes. Other aspects provide for the client to detect all of the wireless devices in the area and send a list to the network. The network responds with a sub-list of those proxies that are available to the client. In each such aspect, when the client discovers the available proxies, it transmits a list of the proxy ID of the discovered proxies to the network.
