TL;DR: In this paper, a calibration work table, a bracket, a parallel pulley, a high-end pulley and a load applying rope are used to calibrate a six-dimensional force sensor.
Abstract: The invention relates to a calibration method of a six-dimensional force sensor. A device for the method comprises a calibration work table, a bracket, a parallel pulley, a high-end pulley and a load applying rope, wherein the bracket is provided with two pulley spindles; the parallel pulley and the high-end pulley are respectively positioned on the two pulley spindles; the load applying rope bypasses the parallel pulley and the high-end pulley; the calibration work table is fixedly provided with a calibration adjusting plate, a sensor pretightening plate and a load positioning plate, wherein the sensor pretightening plate is connected with the calibration adjusting plate through pretightening screws, and the load positioning plate is fixedly connected with the sensor pretightening plate; the six-dimensional force sensor to be calibrated is clamped and arranged between the calibration adjusting plate and the sensor pretightening plate in a pretightening state; and the load positioning plate is provided with five load applying points in cross shapes. The device in the invention has the advantages of relative simple and compact structure, low cost, better generality and easy operation and has the most outstanding advantages of no only carrying out static calibration on the six-dimensional force sensor, but also carrying out dynamic calibration on the six-dimensional force sensor in the calibration device by only easily changing operation.

TL;DR: In this paper, a non-linear vibration of a conveyor belt supported partially by a distributed viscoelastic foundation is investigated and numerical simulations are presented to show stiffness, damping coefficient, foundation length, and mean velocity effects on location of bifurcation points, natural frequencies and stability of solutions.
Abstract: The main source of transverse vibration of a conveyor belt is frictional contact between pulley and belt Also, environmental characteristics such as natural dampers and springs affect natural frequencies, stability and bifurcation points of system These phenomena can be modeled by a small velocity fluctuation about mean velocity Also, viscoelastic foundation can be modeled as the dampers and springs with continuous characteristics In this study, non-linear vibration of a conveyor belt supported partially by a distributed viscoelastic foundation is investigated Perturbation method is applied to obtain a closed form analytic solutions Finally, numerical simulations are presented to show stiffness, damping coefficient, foundation length, non-linearity and mean velocity effects on location of bifurcation points, natural frequencies and stability of solutions

TL;DR: In this paper, a control system for controlling hydraulic pressure in a dual pass continuously variable transmission includes a pump to provide primary and secondary hydraulic pressures for regulating the pulley ratio and belt tension.
Abstract: A control system for controlling hydraulic pressure in a dual pass continuously variable transmission includes a pump to provide primary and secondary hydraulic pressures for regulating the pulley ratio and belt tension. A minicomputer regulates the primary and secondary pressures, and a transition mechanism alternates the paths of the primary and secondary pressures between first and second pulleys of the transmission so that the primary pressure is fed to the drive pulley and the secondary pressure is fed to the driven pulley.

TL;DR: In this article, a power steering pump pulley removal tool has a pair of jaws mounted by mounting fasteners on opposite faces of a hub which has a threaded passageway extending axially there through.
Abstract: A power steering pump pulley removal tool has a pair of jaws mounted by mounting fasteners on opposite faces of a hub which has a threaded passageway extending axially therethrough. The jaws are in longitudinal alignment with one another and the passageway and have complementary arcuate gripping elements formed thereon so as to be remote from the hub. A pair of laterally aligned grip-holding fasteners extend between the jaws adjacent their gripping elements and are operable to hold the jaws in a closed, pulley engaging position. The hub has a handle extending laterally therefrom. A complementarily threaded drive bolt is disposed in the hub passageway so as to have a power steering pump drive shaft engaging end adjacent the gripping elements and a drive end remote therefrom.
