Abstract: The invention discloses a method for preventing rear end collision of motor trains. A trailing extends behind each current motor train, and runs and halts along with the motor train along a railway; when the trailing length is greater than the rolling stroke of the motor train under the condition of the loss of power, a driver of a next motor train immediately cuts off the power and brakes unhurriedly once finding the trailing in front with naked eyes; a station is provided with an auxiliary railway for changing the trailing direction of the motor train; during change of the running direction of the motor train in the station, the motor train is switched into the auxiliary railway, the trailing is stopped in the auxiliary railway, the motor train runs to the other end of the trailing reversely, and the trailing is driven to run into a reverse railway; and passengers get on or get off, goods are loaded and unloaded or the motor train is overhauled when the motor train is on the auxiliary railway. The method has the characteristics of intuitively observing the trailing state, intuitively finding and presuming a motor train which is not too far in the front, overcoming the defects of the conventional motor train running method and effectively avoiding the rear end collision between a next motor train and a front motor train.

Abstract: The invention discloses a highway tunnel rear-end collision prevention early warning method based on a video technology. The method comprises the steps of installing a roadside camera and an electronic display screen; processing acquired video data by adopting an ST-MRF vehicle tracking technology to obtain vehicle position information and a speed, acceleration/braking deceleration and acceleration time/braking time; based on a camera calibration coordinate conversion method, performing mutual conversion on distances from front and rear vehicles to a lens center point in an actual traffic scene and the distance on an image plane to calculate the distance S between the front and rear vehicles; establishing a theoretical calculation model of an early-warning longitudinal safety distance of the rear vehicle, and calculating the early-warning longitudinal distance L of the rear vehicle in real time; and if the distance S between the front vehicle and the rear vehicle is less than the earlywarning longitudinal safety distance L of the rear vehicle, displaying early warning information on an electronic display screen to remind a driver. In the invention, occurrence of tunnel rear-end collision accidents can be effectively avoided, a traffic capacity of roads in a tunnel is increased, and tunnel driving safety is ensured.

Abstract: The device has a vehicle seat (1) which is provided with a seat cushion (1.1), a seatback (1.2) and a headrest (1.3). An inflatable air bag is arranged within the seatback, with which the vehicle ahead, rear end collision or event of the rear end collision with pressurized gas is detected. The headrest and/or portion of the seatback are movable in the direction of vehicle occupant. The vehicle occupant in collision direction is accelerated or deployed before coupling to the vehicle movement. An independent claim is included for method for protecting occupant in vehicle.

Abstract: According to a brand of heavy truck’s under protection device, using CATIA surface modeling functions , this article assessed the performance of the rear under-run protection device. Study the performance of the rear under-run protection device by doing width offset collision simulation. A new energy absorption type under-run protection device is designed which can improve the energy absorption property. By vehicle rear-end collision simulations the optimized feasibility of protective devices is verified.

Abstract: The invention provides a device for preventing a compact car from being plunged into the tail of a truck or a lorry in the case of rear-end collision. The technical problem that due to overhigh speed, an existing compact car is prone to being plunged into the tail of the truck or the lorry in case of rear-end collision to cause a major safety accident is mainly solved. The device is characterized by comprising a rotating shaft and a safety anti-collision barrier installed on the rotating shaft, and the two tail ends of the safety anti-collision barrier are connected into a triangular support through hydraulic buffering devices. The device is mainly used for preventing the situation that the rear compact car is prone to being plunged into the tail of the truck or the lorry in case of the rear-end collision accident caused by the overhigh speed of the compact car.
