TL;DR: In this paper, an instrument panel is installed on a front part in a cabin so as to extend in a vehicle width direction, a front seat is disposed on a floor panel 4 positioned at a rear side of the instrument panel, and a rear seat 6 where a plurality of occupants can sit is disposed at the rear of the front seat.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively protect an occupant sitting on a rear seat in the occurrence of a rear end collision or the like. SOLUTION: In the vehicle, an instrument panel is installed on a front part in a cabin so as to extend in a vehicle width direction, a front seat is disposed on a floor panel 4 positioned at a rear side of the instrument panel, and a rear seat 6 where a plurality of occupants can sit is disposed at the rear side of the front seat. A rear seat drive means 31 which drives the rear seat 6 to move to the front side of the vehicle body when a shock load to the vehicle body rear part is input is provided between the rear end part of a floor panel 4 and the rear seat 6. TL;DR: In this article, a car rear-end collision prevention method is described in which supporting rods are arranged on two sides of an engine hood in a hidden manner, a car girder can be used as supporting points of the rear ends of the supporting rods, the front ends of a car can be hinged with pull rods or pulling ropes, at least one connection pin is arranged in the middle of each pull rod so that two sections of the pull rod are in flexible connection during pulling the pull rods, and the lower ends of either pull rod or the pull ropes are hinged
Abstract: The invention discloses a car rear-end collision prevention method and a car rear-end collision prevention device. The car rear-end collision prevention method is characterized in that supporting rods are arranged on two sides of an engine hood in a hidden manner, a car girder can be used as supporting points of the rear ends of the supporting rods, the front ends of the supporting rods are hinged with pull rods or pulling ropes, at least one connection pin is arranged in the middle of each pull rod so that two sections of each pull rod are in flexible connection during pulling the pull rods, the lower ends of the pull rods or the pull ropes are hinged with the front end of the car girder, when in a rear-end collision accident, speed and distance can be measured by radars or infrared sensing elements, at the critical instant of crashing inevitably, the rear-end collision prevention device is actuated to be supports, the supporting rods and the car girder form a triangular stabilizing structure, inward pulling force can be generated by the pull rods or pull ropes, the supporting rods of the car can be clamped at the rear of a truck, and accordingly, the car and passengers can be protected well and the accident that the car is crashed into the rear end of the truck is prevented. Besides, the car rear-end collision prevention device is simple in structure, easy to be modified or manufactured, low in production cost, fine in service effect, quite favorable for popularization and realizing and capable of preventing traffic accidents.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a system for rear-end collision prevention based on the states of vehicles ahead, which consists of a receiving unit for receiving front vehicle driving information of N vehicles head, wherein the N vehicles ahead and a vehicle are located in the same lane, and N is larger than or equal to 2.
Abstract: The invention relates to a system for rear-end collision prevention based on the states of vehicles ahead. The system for rear-end collision prevention based on the states of vehicles ahead comprises:a receiving unit for receiving front vehicle driving information of N vehicles head, wherein the N vehicles ahead and a vehicle are located in the same lane, and N is larger than or equal to 2; a vehicle information acquisition unit for acquiring the driving information of the vehicle; a processing unit used for calculating the collision time between every two adjacent vehicles according to the front vehicle driving information of the N vehicles ahead and the driving information of the vehicle and judging whether the vehicle needs to be braked or not based on the collision time between everytwo adjacent vehicles; and a braking unit used for braking based on the judgment result of the processing unit. The invention further relates to a method for rear-end collision prevention based on thestates of the vehicles ahead. The occurrence of multi-vehicle rear-end collision accidents can be avoided to a great extent.

TL;DR: A deceleration probability density function model was developed which based on the data comes from video detector took brake system response time and coefficient of adhesion into account and this make the model forceful to reflect the real traffic situation.
Abstract: An innovation feature of this study is modeling real-time car-following risk based on probabilistic concepts. First of all, this paper divided the process of rear-end collision into two stages: first stage is leading vehicle decelerates and the second is the following vehicle can not avoid the collision on the condition of it. On the basis of that, the probability of rear-end collision which used to express the risk of car-following was calculated using the total probability theorem. Whatpsilas more, a deceleration probability density function model was developed which based on the data comes from video detector. In the analysis of the condition on which collision occur while leading vehicle decelerating, brake system response time and coefficient of adhesion were taken into account and this make the model forceful to reflect the real traffic situation. At last, a case study was given using Hang Zhou data, and the data was collect by video detector. The proposed model can be applied to road safety evaluation and intelligent transportation systems.
