TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a method to eliminate material separation in such a way that mixed particulate material is pneumatically conveyed in dollop condition, where the material is throttled and compressed through a main reducer 32 is made into dollop by binder action of plasticizer in the material.
Abstract: PURPOSE: To eliminate material separation in such a way that mixed particulate material is pneumatically conveyed in dollop condition. CONSTITUTION: After pressurized air has been fed through a pneumatic inlet port P 1 into a tank 1, a ball valve 12 is opened, mixed particulate material in the tank is disgorged into a guide pipe 2, and the material is pneumatically fed into a reducer 3 under combined pressure of pressurized air which is breathed out of a nozzle P 2 of the pipe 2 and air which is fed into the tank. Mixed particulate material throttled and compressed through a main reducer 32 is made into dollop by binder action of plasticizer in the material. The massive particulate material is pneumatically fed into a conveying pipeline 5 under pressurized air, and it passes smoothly through bent portions 50 in the pipeline 5 by means that the dollop is slackened by air blown in through an air blower 6. Thereafter, it is resoldified by compression through back pressure during pneumatic dispatch, and finally after it gets into a hopper 4, the conveyance will be finished. COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio

TL;DR: In this article, the lift valve is formed by a cylindrical chamber with a lateral inlet and a cross-section reducer, and the difference between the forces acting on the piston and on the reducer causes the piston to retract.
Abstract: The lift valve comprises a body (1) in which is formed a cylindrical chamber (2) provided with a lateral inlet (14) and with an outlet (3). This chamber contains a piston (4) on which acts a spring (22) and which is solidly fixed to a rod (6) whose end constitutes a valve seal. The rod (6) is further provided with a cross-section reducer (9) formed, for example, by a perforated cylindrical bearing surface. The inlet aperture (14) opens out between the piston (4) and the cross-section reducer (9). The difference between the forces acting on the piston and on the cross-section reducer causes the piston to retract, thus opening the lift valve. The cross-section reducer seals the inlet aperture (14) to a greater or lesser extent.

TL;DR: In this article, the rotating speed differences of the upper and lower rolls of the captioned device were changed in a stepless manner by suitably changing the rotating speeds of the differential gear of the planetary gear mechanism provided to one drive shaft by an auxiliary drive machine.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable the rotating speed differences of the upper and lower rolls of the captioned device to be changed in a stepless manner by suitably changing the rotating speed of the differential gear of the planetary gear mechanism provided to one drive shaft by an auxiliary drive machine. CONSTITUTION:When a sungear 18 is rotated in the arrow (a) direction by a main drive machine 27 and speed reducer 29, a planetary gear 21 revolves in the arrow (a) direction while rotating in the arrow (b) direction, causing the drive shaft 11 of the upper roll to revolve in the arrow (a) direction. The drive shaft 12 of the lower roll is also revolved in the arrow (c) direction by a transmission gear 30. In the arc part, there is a need for rotating the upper rool with a slight delay from the lower roll. This simply necessitates delaying the revolution of the gear 21 by rotating an auxiliary gear 26 in the arrow (d) direction by an auxiliary driving machine 22 and speed reducer 23 thereby rotating the differential gear 16 in the (e) direction opposite from the revolving direction (a) of the planetary gear 21.

TL;DR: In this paper, a pneumatically powered nut runner has an axial swivel interposed i the housings of the air motor and gear reduction to permit radial repositioning of the gear reducer housing relative to the air motors housing.
Abstract: The pneumatically powered nut runner has an axial swivel interposed i the housings of the air motor and gear reduction to permit radial repositioning of the gear reducer housing relative to the air motor housing. A torque reaction bar is affixed to the gear reducer housing and is thus also radially repositionable relative to the air motor housing. This repositioning capability facilitates adjustment of the reaction bar so that it contacts a bracing point without necessitating the radial repositioning of the air motor housing. When torque is applied to a fastener, nearly all reaction torque is taken by the torque bar and none is transmitted to the operator.
