Abstract: An analog/digital converter configuration includes sigma-delta modulators being triggered by an analog input signal and emitting digital output signals at a predetermined sampling rate. The sigma-delta modulators have input circuits with amplification factors. Amplifiers are each connected upstream of a respective one of the sigma-delta modulators. First sampling rate reducers are each connected downstream of a respective one of the sigma-delta modulators. Damping elements are each connected downstream of a respective one of the first sampling rate reducers. Each of the damping elements have a damping factor equal to the inverse of the amplification factor occurring in the input circuit of a corresponding one of the sigma-delta modulators. A priority logic is connected downstream of the damping elements. A second sampling rate reducer is connected downstream of the priority logic. An output is connected downstream of the second sampling rate reducer. The priority logic switches a signal from the first sampling rate reducers to the output after evaluation of signals from the first sampling rate reducers.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the breakdown of a robot arm and speed reducer by providing an estimator estimating the acceleration and loading torque of a robot arm and providing a comparator comparating each acceleration estimation value and load torque estimation value, generating a motor free control signal based on the result thereof and giving it to a breaker. CONSTITUTION:The acceleration of a robot arm 5 is estimated by an acceleration estimator 9 and also a load torque applied on the robot arm 5 is estimated by a load torque estimator 8. These estimation values are then compared by a comparator 10 and in case of an abnormality being generated on the robot arm 5 a motor free control signal is transmitted to a breaker 2 from the comparator 10 by detecting this abnormality immediately. The input voltage to a servo motor 3 is cut off by the breaker 2 based on this signal, the servo motor 3 is made in a free state and the breakdown of the robot arm 5 and a speed reducer 4 is prevented.

Abstract: A method of reducing drag (friction) of a gas (e.g. natural gas) flowing in a gas pipeline at a constant pressure drop between a first point and a second point. The gas flowrate is monitored at the second point as a drag reducer is injected into the gas flow at the first point. The injection rate of the drag reducer is adjusted to provide the maximum flowrate at the second point with the minimum amount of drag reducer. The excess drag reducer is removed from the gas flow at the second point and monitored. Once the maximum flowrate is stabilized, the injection rate of the drag reducer is adjusted to approximately the same rate as any excess drag reducer is being removed at said second point.

Cool lubricating oil is supplied to the interior of the speed reducer case, and at the same time, high temperature lubricating oil is discharged out of the motor. In this way, the lubricating oil within the speed reducer case is maintained at low temperature.

CONSTITUTION: A speed reducer comprising a motor shaft 2, and a drive wheel hub 16 fitted via a bearing on the outer circumference of the motor shaft 2 and rotating at a speed reduced with the planetary gear speed reduction device is provided with a first stage planetary gear speed reduction device in the inside periphery of the motor shaft 2. Because in this structure the first stage planetary gear speed reduction device is housed in the motor shaft 2 of an increased size due to the increase in the size of the drive wheel hub 16, the dead conventionally existing between hydraulic motor and planetary gear speed reduction device is effectively used to arrange the planetary gear speed reduction device. A typical example is a transmission of a clock or a watch, which can simplify a conventional mechanism and lower the manufacturing cost. The reducer unit functions by some salient portions on the input member pushing the flexible member, to engage a part of a ring gear furnished on the flexible member with another ring gear furnished on the output member. The output member is rotated by differential pitches of aforesaid two ring gears. For a clock or watch transmission, the ring gear on the output member is an independent member joined frictionally with a substance of the output member so that they can be slid relatively for time adjustment.

The welding machine 1 main body is then fixed on the gear 3 via a connecting plate 8 and the gear 3 is meshed and rotated by rotation of the pinion 10 direct-coupled with an output shaft 5a by rotation of a handle 6 of the speed reducer 5. Accordingly, the welding machine 1 main body is rotated by rotational movement of the gear 3 and angles of the electrodes 14 and 15 are changed freely. As a result, when the handle 6 is rotated manually, the angles of the electrodes 14 and 15 are changed arbitrarily. In addition, when the rotation of the handle 6 is stopped, the gear 3 is positioned by interposing the speed reducer 5 and a lock lever 9.

CONSTITUTION:A torque detector 5 is provided to an output shaft of a speed reducer 11 to constitute a torque control loop outside the current feedback. A torque detection signal is then differentiated and by multiplying by a specified coefficient (kO), it is added to the loop. In order to compensate the nonlinearity of a spring constant, a compensatory characteristic corresponding to the torque is added to kO. This can solve both the improvement on damping and the compensation of friction torque.

CONSTITUTION:A sealed case 2 is vibrated by the operation of a compressor, but by vibrating the inertial body 15 of a dynamic vibration reducer 14 in the opposite phase to the vibration of the sealed case 2, the vibration of the sealed case 2 is damped. A connecting part 16 is formed of a tension coil spring having initial tension and arm parts 16a, 16b. When a space is formed between windings, bending rigidity is changed and the peak width of the natural vibration of the dynamic vibration reducer 14 is widened, causing damping effect. Therefore, the peak width of the maximum damping frequency is widened, and vibration damping effect can be obtained in a wide frequency band. Notch parts 17b, 15b and projection parts 17c, 15c are provided on the top ends of the protruding parts 17a, 15a of a fixture 17 and the inertial body 15, respectively, whereby the natural frequency of the dynamic vibration reducer 14 can be stabilized.
