Abstract: The present invention involves thermal management of an integrated emission reduction system for the removal of particulate matter (PM) and nitrogen oxides (NOx) from diesel engine exhaust streams. The inventive integrated emission reduction system may include a diesel particulate filter (DPF), a heat source for adjusting the temperature of the exhaust stream entering the DPF, at least one selective catalytic reducer of NOx, a heat exchanger for adjusting the temperature of the exhaust stream entering the NOx reducer, and a computing device for monitoring the temperature and/or pressure of the exhaust stream entering the DPF and the NOx reducer, and for controlling the operation of the heat exchanger and heat source, thereby improving the efficiency of the DPF and the NOx reducer.

Abstract: A mounting apparatus for sprinklers which has a simple but firm mounting structure in which a fixing bracket couples a sprinkler reducer to a reducer support beam, and a pair of vertical brackets mount the reducer support beam to a pair of ceiling support rails. The mounting apparatus for sprinklers includes the pair of vertical brackets respectively mounted at lower ends thereof to upper ends of the pair of ceiling support rails, and the fixing bracket mounted to a predetermined portion of the reducer support beam between the pair of ceiling support rails, so as to vertically hold a sprinkler reducer which has a sprinkler head at an end thereof. In the mounting apparatus, the fixing bracket includes a rear part, first and second side parts, first and second curved parts, first and second tightening parts, first and second notches, first and second bolt holes, and a wing bolt. Each of the vertical brackets includes front and rear guide projections, third and fourth bolt holes, a guide hole, a guide rod, a leaning part, fifth and sixth bolt holes, a coupling bolt, first and second mounting holes, first and second hook-type locking grooves, and a locking unit.

Abstract: It is an object of the invention to provide an eddy current speed reducer that, though simple in construction, is superior in brake efficiency. Another object is to provide an eddy current speed reducer that has a small switching stoke and is capable of rapid switching. Thus, an eddy current speed reduce according to the invention comprises a brake disk (2) connected to a rotary shaft (1); a plurality of permanent magnets (7) having a magnetic pole surface opposed to the brake disk (2); and a drive mechanism for moving the permanent magnets (7) toward and away from the brake disk (2). Preferably, it further comprises a guide sleeve (3) supported by a nonrotatable structural section not connected to the rotary shaft (1), receiving a holder ring (4) supporting the permanent magnets (7) and opposed to the brake disk (2). And in the guide sleeve (3), a ferromagnetic member (8) is positioned in opposed relationship to the brake disk (2). Alternatively, the whole including the permanent magnets (7) of the guide sleeve (3) and the opposed end surface is constructed of nonmagnetic material.

Its advantages are high productivity and stability, and low cost.

The second planetary gear mechanism (P2) is provided radially outside the first planetary gear mechanism (P1) connected to the input shaft (Si), and the third planetary gear mechanism (P3) is provided outside, in an axis (L) direction, the first planetary gear mechanism (P1). As a consequence, the thickness of the speed reducer (49) can be made less than the case where the rotation of the input shaft (Si) is reduced in three stages by the first-third planetary gear mechanisms (P1, P2, P3) and transmitted to the output shaft (So) with all the planetary gear mechanisms (P1, P2, P3) laid over each other in the axis (L) direction. This results that the appearance of the walk assist apparatus when worn by a user is improved.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a cycloidal reducer, and it is mainly characterized by that (1). the machine seat and pin toothshell are integrated into one body or the pin toothshell is placed in the internal cavity of the machine seat; and (2). its output mechainsm is formed from output shaft, dowel pin and uniformly-loading ring, its two sides are supported by bearings, so that the cycloidal wheel and eccentric bearing are placed between said two bearings. As compared with cycloidal reducer series 6000 made in Sumitomo Co. Ltd. of Japan its axial size is shortened by 20-34% and contour dimension is reduced by 6-34%, and as compared with SEW hard transverse pitch reducer of Germany its axial size is shortened by 20-45% and its weight is reduced by 25-35%, so that it is more suitable for matching with main machine.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of ill odors during opening/closing a tank storing reducer. SOLUTION: A NOx reduction catalyst 3 is mounted in an exhaust pipe 2 for an engine 1 and urea water stored in a reducer tank 10 is supplied to the NOx reduction catalyst 3 by a reducer supply device 7. Cooling water heated by the engine 1 is circulated in the tank 10 to heat the urea water stored in the tank 10. When the temperature of the cooling water is not lower than a temperature which allows the generation of ammonia from the urea water, a cooling water circuit 20 is shut off by a solenoid on-off valve 22. Thus, the circulation of the high temperature cooling water in the reducer tank 10 is prevented, therefore suppressing the generation of ammonia from the urea water in the tank 10 and suppressing the generation of ill odors during opening/closing the tank 10. Abstract: A novel technique for estimating the magnitude or contribution ratio of each stage backlash in a system with a two-stage gear reducer is proposed. The concept is based on the change of frequency response characteristic, in particular, the change of anti-resonant frequency and resonant frequency, due to the change of the magnitude of the backlash of each stage, even though the total magnitude of the backlash of a system with a two-stage gear reducer is constant. The validity of the technique is verified in a seeker gimbal and satisfactory results are obtained. It is thought that the diagnosis and maintenance of manufacturing machines and systems with two-stage gear reducers will become more efficient and economical by virtue of proposed technique.

The differential compensating reducer includes two stages of hoisting differential planetary speed reducers and two stages of variable-amplitude speed reducers. The computer system also includes a compression control register that holds control information, and a precision reducer for reducing the precision of the data prior to that data being stored in the data queue. The precision reducer responses to control information to reduce the precision of the data such that the resulting reduced precision data can be more efficiently compressed. The control information, and thus the operation of the precision reducer, depends on the compression ratio monitor.

SOLUTION: The action of a first pressure reducer 12 and a second pressure reducer 15 causes the fluctuation of refrigerant pressure of a first heat exchanger 13 to regulate the refrigerant hold amount of the first heat exchanger. The imbalance between the refrigerant amount in air-conditioning and that in heating-dehumidifying can thereby be reduced, and the refrigerating cycle system can be operated with high efficiency while miniaturizing the receiver or without providing the receiver. The tubes are arranged in a serpentine, back and forth manner, and U-shaped tubes interconnect successive pairs of product tubes to achieve the 180-degree change in flow direction. The U-shaped tubes are of a cross-sectional diameter greater than the product pipes. Tapering flow reducers extend between the opposing ends of the U-shaped tubes and the product tubes. The exit flow reducer is eccentrically formed to facilitate a smooth transition of the product from the U-shaped bend to the product tube and prevent liquid product from becoming entrapped along the bottom of the flow reducer.
