TL;DR: A parallel fed colinear dipole array antenna for broadcasting and receiving a signal of a selected wavelength was proposed in this paper, which consists of a plurality of elongate dipole antennas attached end-to-end in a linear array.
Abstract: A parallel fed colinear dipole array antenna for broadcasting and receiving a signal of a selected wavelength The antenna comprises a plurality of elongate dipole antennas attached end-to-end in a linear array A power divider divides and transmits a signal in parallel to each of the dipole antennas The linear spacing of the dipoles is correlated with the dimensions of the dipoles and the selected wavelength, such that the signals of the dipole antennas interfere with each other when broadcast, so as to focus signals which propagate substantially perpendicularly to the linear array, and to diminish other signals

TL;DR: In this paper, an antenna array of n individual parabolic dishes is arranged about a center in subarrays extending in North, East, South and West rows, and signals received by the antennas are combined into representations of the electromagnetic environment as viewed with various simultaneous beam geometries.
Abstract: An antenna array of “n” individual parabolic dishes is arranged about a center in subarrays extending in North, East, South and West rows. Signals received by the antennas are combined into representations of the electromagnetic environment as viewed with various simultaneous beam geometries, through a combination of analog signal summation, and digital implementation of aperture synthesis techniques. All antennas monitor the same portion of sky. The array is able to scan the sky without physically moving the antennas. The angular resolution of the array greatly exceeds that of the individual antennas. A variety of different research objectives, such as targeted searches, all-sky surveys, sky mapping, interference studies, the study of a variety of natural astrophysical phenomena, and the search for intelligently generated microwave emissions of possible extraterrestrial origin, may be realized simultaneously.

TL;DR: In this article, a 12-element planar antenna array with patch elements operating at 2.47 GHz along with its integrated feed network is presented, which has beam steering capabilities via the use of digitally controlled radio frequency (RF) phase shifters.
Abstract: A 12-element planar antenna array with patch elements operating at 2.47 GHz along with its integrated feed network is presented. The array has beam steering capabilities via the use of digitally controlled radio frequency (RF) phase shifters. The array and its feed network were fabricated on a 3-layer PCB of RO4350 material with total dimensions of 458.8×161×1.27 mm 3 . To total array weight was 229 gm. The array covered a minimum bandwidth of 40 MHz. The array is to be integrated within the wing structure of a small to medium size UAV. Simulated and measured results are presented for the array performance metrics.

TL;DR: In this article, the radiation of compressed high power short RF pulses using two difierent types of antennas: (i) a simple monopole antenna and (ii) a novel array design, where each of the elements is constructed by combining a compressor and a radiator.
Abstract: The paper discusses the radiation of compressed high power short RF pulses using two difierent types of antennas: (i) A simple monopole antenna and (ii) a novel array design, where each of the elements is constructed by combining a compressor and a radiator. The studies on the monopole antenna demonstrate the possibility of a high power short RF pulse's e-cient radiation even using simple antennas. The studies on the novel array design demonstrate that a reduced size array with lower pulse distortion and power decay can be constructed by assembling the array from elements each of which integrates a compressor and a radiator. This design idea can be used with any type of antenna array; in this work it is applied to a phased array.
