TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used a Lambertian reflector to assess the maximum efficiency of the microspherical solar cells and modules in indoor and outdoor conditions, and compared the performance of these three dimensional semi-transparent cells with traditional planar devices.

TL;DR: In this paper, a cylindrical bulb reflector is installed in a hole in a ceiling panel and a torsion spring is disposed about a screw installed in each of two threaded transverse holes, with the springs having legs resiliently biased towards the distal end of the fixture.
Abstract: A lighting fixture includes a reflector lamp having a bulb, a reflector and a bayonet base, a lampholder for holding and connecting the lamp having a proximal end connected to an external source of electrical power and a distal end supporting the base of the lamp. A generally radial flange is contiguous with the distal end of the lampholder and supports a contiguous cylindrical bulb reflector housing coaxially with the lampholder and extends beyond the bulb reflector in the distal direction. The bulb reflector has one or more rotational engagement notches engageable with a tool for installation or removal of the bayonet base of the lamp from the lampholder. A preferred embodiment has a torsion spring is disposed about a screw installed in each of two threaded transverse holes, with the springs having legs resiliently biased towards the distal end of the fixture. The cylindrical bulb reflector housing extends beyond the bulb reflector and is provided with an external radial flange at its distal end; whereby the fixture may be installed in a hole in a ceiling panel that closely fits the bulb reflector housing and the legs of the torsion spring apply force to a top surface of the ceiling panel to pull the external radial flange against the bottom surface of the ceiling panel to retain the fixture in the panel.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors review the principles, history and design of compact ranges and compare the relative advantages of various types of compact range for both antenna measurements and radar cross-section measurements.
Abstract: Antenna test ranges are required to be capable of measuring the radiation and scattering characteristics of high performance antennas and to operate over a wide range of frequencies. The compact antenna test range (compact range) can fulfil these requirements very well and has established itself as a versatile indoor test range capable of measuring medium to large size antennas over the frequency range of 1 to 300 GHz. The compact range uses one (or more) collimating reflectors to create a region of plane waves, called the quiet zone, in front of a reflector. The paper reviews the principles, history and design of compact ranges. The various types are described and their relative advantages compared. The compact range can be used for both antenna measurements and radar cross-section measurements and shows considerable promise for further development in the future.< >

TL;DR: In this article, an apparatus is provided in which a phased transmitting array (21) is arranged to irradiate a selected voxel within a search volume, and the signals received from a plurality of voxels are analyzed to search for reflectors or discontinuities within the search space.
Abstract: An apparatus is provided in which a phased transmitting array (21) is arranged to irradiate a selected voxel within a search volume. Energy reflected from the voxel is received by a further antenna and the signals received from a plurality of voxels are analysed to search for reflectors or discontinuities within the search space.
