TL;DR: In this paper, the shape of the read original image data is not a rectangular shape, since the black frame is not added as intended, binarized data from the read image before the image frame is added is directly output.
Abstract: An original image is read, image data corresponding to a black frame is added to the read original image data, and the image data with the frame is output. In this case, when the shape of the read original image data is not a rectangular shape, since the black frame is not added as intended, binarized data of the read image before the image frame is added is directly output.

TL;DR: In this paper, a motion detection method and an apparatus applied to a liquid crystal display device are used to detect the difference value of each pixel between the first frame image and the second frame image.
Abstract: A motion detection method and an apparatus applied to a liquid crystal display device, are such that the method utilizes the steps of storing a first frame image in a storage unit at a first time, receiving the first frame image and a second frame image which is received at a second time, calculating a difference value of each pixel between the first frame image and the second frame image, and determining an adjustment value and a variance between the first frame image and the second frame image according to the result of the difference value of each pixel between the first frame image and the second frame image.

TL;DR: A new approach for real-time encoder which maintains both frame rate and video quality and can maintain frame rate without significant degradation of visual quality and increase in bit rate is proposed.
Abstract: The H.264/AVC encoder acquires high coding efficiency by using the various coding techniques, but requires very high computational complexity. Therefore, H.264/AVC encoder causes the problem of preserving acceptable video coding performance in the low-power/processor environments, such as wireless mobile. To optimize the rate-distortion (R-D) and complexity, we analyze the encoding structure and establish an analytic model for complexity. From this analysis, we propose a new approach for real-time encoder which maintains both frame rate and video quality. An encoding time control algorithm investigates the results of P16×16 motion estimation (ME) in the current frame and decides the number of skipped macro-blocks (MBs) in order to encode the frame within the allocated target encoding time. A complexity control algorithm manages the coding complexity of each frame by preventing motion estimations for smaller modes. Simulation results show that compared to the existing algorithm, the proposed algorithm can maintain frame rate without significant degradation of visual quality and increase in bit rate.

TL;DR: In this article, a linear prediction analysis is performed on the basis of the decoded audio signal obtained up to the preceding frame to estimate at least in part a synthesis filter relating to the current frame, whereby the successive synthesis filters used to filter the excitation signal, as long as there is no missing frame, conform to the estimated synthesis filters.
Abstract: The decoder receives a bit stream representative of an audio signal, with a flag indicating any missing frames. For each frame, an excitation signal is formed from excitation parameters recovered in the bit stream if the frame is valid and estimated otherwise if the frame is missing, and the excitation signal is filtered by means of a synthesis filter to obtain a decoded audio signal. A linear prediction analysis is performed on the basis of the decoded audio signal obtained up to the preceding frame to estimate at least in part a synthesis filter relating to the current frame, whereby the successive synthesis filters used to filter the excitation signal, as long as there is no missing frame, conform to the estimated synthesis filters. If a frame n 0 is missing, at least one synthesis filter used to filter the excitation signal relative to a subsequent frame n 0 +i is determined by a weighted combination of the synthesis filter estimated in relation to frame n 0 +i and at least one synthesis filter that has been used since frame n 0 .

TL;DR: In this article, an apparatus for detecting at least one tone having a known frequency and duration in an input signal was proposed, where the input signal is input over a period of time which is divided into frame portions including at least an initial frame portion and a last frame portion.
Abstract: An apparatus for detecting at least one tone having a known frequency and duration in an input signal. The input signal is input over a period of time which is divided into frame portions including at least an initial frame portion and a last frame portion. An energy signal indicative of the energy of the input signal during each frame portion is generated. A signal filter receives the energy signal and generates a noise indicator for each frame portion based on whether noise is detected in the energy signal. A dynamic threshold determiner generates an energy threshold for each frame portion. The energy threshold for the initial frame portion is generated based on a minimum expected value of the energy signal for a subsequent frame portion. The energy thresholds for frame portions subsequent to the initial frame portion are generated based on values of the energy signals during previous frame portions and the noise indicator. A signal processor determines when the input signal includes the at least one tone based on the energy threshold, the noise indicator, and the energy signal.
