TL;DR: In this paper, a reduced size branch-line coupler has been implemented and demonstrated in a 4×4 Butler Matrix beamforming network operating at 1.7-2.0 GHz.
Abstract: This paper presents a reduced size quadrature branch-line coupler that has achieved size reduction by approximately up to 80% without having to compromise performance. This design is realized on a low cost substrate (FR4, 0.50mm, ?r = 4.4), yields an excellent return loss (?49.0dB) and coupling loss (?3.30 ~ ?3.50dB) characteristics at 1.8GHz. The practical application of this novel reduced size branch-line coupler has been implemented and demonstrated in a 4×4 Butler Matrix beam-forming network operating at 1.7-2.0GHz.

TL;DR: In this paper, an unequal power division Wilkinson power divider (PD) with physical output port separation is proposed, which employs isolation impedances at arbitrary positions within quarter-wave-long transmission lines, and hence both electrical isolation and physical separation can be obtained between output ports.
Abstract: In this letter, we propose an $N$ -way unequal power division Wilkinson power divider (PD) with physical output port separation. These PDs employ isolation impedances at arbitrary positions within quarter-wave-long transmission lines, and hence both electrical isolation and physical separation can be obtained between output ports. Design equations are derived, meeting the impedance matching and isolation requirements of the PD. The fabricated 2-way (1:2) and 3-way (1:2:1) PDs operating at 2.0 GHz exhibit excellent insertion loss, return loss, and isolation performance with the output ports physically separated.

TL;DR: In this article, the MM-wave performance of flip-chip interconnects in a coplanar environment is investigated by means of electromagnetic simulation, different possibilities to improve return loss are presented and discussed.
Abstract: The MM-wave performance of flip-chip interconnects in a coplanar environment is investigated. By means of electromagnetic simulation, different possibilities to improve return loss are presented and discussed. A further issue is the reduction of parasitic coupling between the chip and transmission-lines on the motherboard underpassing the chip.

TL;DR: The design of Modified Sierpinski Carpet Fractal Antenna which resonates at six frequencies 4.825, 5.455, 6.265 GHz and 6.145 GHz is described and good agreement with each other is found.
Abstract: The sudden growth in wireless communication area has increased the requirements of compact integrated antennas. This paper describes the design of Modified Sierpinski Carpet Fractal Antenna which resonates at six frequencies 4.825, 5.455, 6.265 GHz and 6.805, 8.02 and 9.145 GHz. Different performance parameters like radiation pattern, gain, Voltage Standing Wave Ratio, return losses are observed at all the frequencies. The FR4 glass epoxy with relative permittivity 4.4 and height 1.6 mm is used as substrate material. Antenna is fed by coaxial probe feed and simulated using ANSYS/ANSOFT HFSS V13 software. Proposed antenna has simple structure. Investigation is done between 1 and 10 GHz frequencies. The proposed antenna is fabricated and tested on the Vector Network Analyzer. The measured and simulated results of proposed antenna are compared and are found to be good agreement with each other.
