Abstract: The invention relates to a photoelectric tube adjusting device for light combination assembly of a laser gyroscope. The photoelectric tube adjusting device comprises an optical platform, a photoelectric tube adjusting mechanism, a laser gyroscope shaking device and a to-be-assembled optical element in the light combination assembly of the laser gyroscope. The photoelectric tube adjusting device established by adopting the combined control method of a linear drive rod and a motor is flexible in motion output track, large in working space, good in operability and high in positioning precision, the angle and position adjusting precision of a photoelectric tube can be improved, and the quality and efficiency of the laser gyroscope light combination process can be further improved.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To improve the sensitivity of a laser gyro by making two opposite pulses overlap each other again in a saturable absorber or its equivalent and form a fixed standing wave in a resonator. CONSTITUTION: A laser gyro 10 is provided with a laser ring resonator 12, and the resonator 12 has an active amplifying or gain medium (laser medium) 14 and a saturable absorbing medium 16 which are arranged at an interval equal to the 1/4 of the circumference of the ring resonator 12. When the laser medium 14 is excited, two short pulses circulate in the opposite directions in the resonator 12, pass by and overlap each other in the medium 16, and always form a standing wave in the saturable medium 16, when they overlap each other. One of resonator mirrors has a slight light-transmitting property and the corresponding parts of the two round-trip pulses detected on the outside of the resonator are fetched in directions 20 and 22, which are spatially separated from each other by a mirror (18).

Abstract: The advantages and the characteristics of the fiber optic gyroscopes (FOGs) for the space application, compared with the traditional mechanical gyroscope and the laser gyroscope, have been mentioned. There are differences of the FOG designing between application in space and other conditions especially the radiation-resistant, low power cost and less weight of the FOG. The key techniques of the fiber optic gyros technology have been proposed and some test results have been discussed.
