TL;DR: Based on the laser beam poynting's vector direct orientation gyro technology, a large-volume laser working material is excited to form the oriented laser beam unconcerned in the rotation of the laser resonator aound laser medium as the axis, so that it can make the laser gyro more easy to manufacture and cost lower as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: The present invention adopts a large-region laser working material. Based on the laser beam poynting's vector direct orientation gyro technology (refer to the "superhigh-accuracy laser gyro technology and its apparatus", China Patent, Application No.91104933.9), a large-volume laser working material is excited to form the oriented laser beam unconcerned in the rotation of the laser resonator aound laser medium as the axis, so that it can make the laser gyro more easy to manufacture and cost lower. It can be extensively used in the application fields having high-accuracy requirements such as exploration, navigation, aviation and space technology.

TL;DR: In this article, an all-fiber ring resonator gyroscope utilizing a double cavity and a short-coherence-length light source is presented. But the sensitivity can be increased further by the insertion of an optical amplifier which compensates for attenuation in the fiber ring.
Abstract: A novel configuration for an all-fiber ring resonator gyroscope utilizing a double cavity and a short-coherence-length light source is presented here. The gyroscope can achieve a higher finesse than a Sagnac interferometer resulting in higher sensitivity as a result of multiple path interferences. The sensitivity can be increased further by the insertion of an optical amplifier which compensates for attenuation in the fiber ring. The proposed instrument makes use of fewer components than other low-coherence-length, high-finesse gyroscopes based on a combination of the Sagnac interferometer and ring resonator. Simple phase-tracking techniques can be used to determine the rotation rate. A light-emitting diode is used as light source in order to reduce noise that results from coherent Rayleigh back scattering, the Kerr effect, and dc phase bias shifts. The proposed gyroscope can be made polarization insensitive by employing a Faraday rotator mirror.© (1994) COPYRIGHT SPIE--The International Society for Optical Engineering. TL;DR: In this paper, a ring laser-gyroscope was constructed by drawing out laser beams through a Brewster window, reflecting the laser beams from a concave mirror and forming an annular photoelectric circuit.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To manufacture the ring laser-gyroscope easily by drawing out laser beams through a Brewster window, reflecting the laser beams from a concave mirror and forming an annular photoelectric circuit. CONSTITUTION:Laser beams 9 are extracted to the outside by a small damping factor or returned into a glass block 1 from the outside by forming the Brewster windows 7, 8 to the glass block 1. Laser beams 9 drawn out of the glass block 1 are reflected by the concave mirror 4, and returned into the glass block 1. The concave mirror 4 is set up to a L-shaped support base 10, and a position to laser beams 9 is fixed.
