TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated free vibration and dynamic instability of functionally graded cylindrical panels subjected to combined static and periodic axial forces and in thermal environment, and derived a semi-analytical approach, which takes the advantages of one-dimensional differential quadrature approximation, Galerkin technique and Bolotin's method to determine the natural frequencies and the unstable regions of the panel.

TL;DR: In this article, a C0 finite element formulation is used to carry out free vibration analysis of curved panels using a higher-order formulation, which includes Sanders' approximation for doubly curved shells considering the effects of rotary inertia and transverse shear.

TL;DR: A finite element formulation of the equations governing the laminated anisotropic plate theory of Yang, Norris and Stavsky, is presented in this article, which is a generalization of Mindlin's theory for isotropic plates to laminated aisotropic plates and includes shear deformation and rotary inertia effects.

TL;DR: In this paper, a hierarchy of beam elements which include the effects of transverse shear deformation and rotary inertia is presented, and a series of constrained elements can be generated by imposing a continuous shear constraint condition on each member of the beam element family.
