Abstract: The system fills saggars on kiln trucks with upright roofing tiles, these being slid into the saggers. The tiles are transported in U-shaped steel boxes, which are inserted (11) with the tiles in the saggars (5). After the tiles have then been thrust part of the way out of the boxes, these are pulled out from under them while a resistance is applied to them. The boxes can be arranged in a group to match intervals between the saggar compartments. Conveyors (1) can be included to deliver the boxes into groups, together with a thruster mechanism (3) inserting them in the saggar and stops (9) engaging behind the tiles.
