TL;DR: A self-attitude control type Savonius wind turbine capable of controlling a selfattitude of guide blades so as to constantly and automatically unify a position and a direction to a wind direction even when the wind direction varies in any direction of 360 degrees is presented in this article.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-attitude control type Savonius wind turbine capable of controlling a self-attitude of guide blades so as to constantly and automatically unify a position and a direction to a wind direction even when the wind direction varies in any direction of 360 degrees. SOLUTION: In this Savonius type wind turbine having a wind turbine rotor 12 in which recessed part sides of two semi-cylindrical blades 16 are made to face each other, and slid from a right counterpart position to be supported at a first support body 14, there are provided the guide blades 26, 28 which are supported by a second support body 30 provided so as to be rotated with an axial line of a wind turbine rotor 12 centered, disposed around the wind turbine rotor 12, guided so as to send the wind to the wind turbine rotor 12, and a direction control blade 34 which is provided on the second support body 30, rotates and returns the guide blades 26, 28 to an attitude position so as to send the wind to the wind turbine rotor 12 through the second support body 30 even when wind direction toward the wind turbine rotor 12 varies in any direction by received force based on the wind direction.
